There are so many myths flying around out there about sales copy these days...

Here's a big one....

A copy guy will create demand for your copy. Wrong...the demand needs to be there already.

As good all Eugene S. used to say...the copy guy's job is to write copy where people can see clearly through the shop window to see what you are selling.

Being less than perfect to increase sales...

I'm sure you're heard the expression...
"too good to be true" ??

Well that applies to your sales copy as well.

If you spin what you have as perfect for whatever problem you're trying to solve, you're going to run into trouble.

People will start to doubt you're really telling the truth.

So what's the solution??

Easy...admit a fault straight off the bat.

This will make your reader think you're on...
