Day 1 of copywriting

I am going through Ross Bowring's Stripped Nakes Sales Letters and man am I impressed. This is my second pass through this material, the first was a sniff to see if it was **** or not. It wasn't. So the second is to taste if it is poisoned...lol. Just kidding.
I am making it a point to learn copywriting. I read in the war room a report by...err, I forget (sorry un-named guy), that you need only really learn four things. The first was copywriting the second was...product???
ANYway, this first one stuck in my craw as it is an area that I am pretty weak at. My writing is a little bit of a embarrassment to me truth be told.
This blog is going to be my journal of sorts on this road to freedom.
I am reminded of a line from Pirates of the Carribean by Capt. Jack Sparrow, he says "It’s not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails that's what a ship needs but what a ship is…what the Black Pearl really is…is freedom."
IM Is my Black Pearl...
The call to do it myself, on my terms is so very strong now that I have spent the better part of two years understanding what the hell this thing is REALLY about. Took me long enough I suppose. But better late than...well, you know the rest.
