I have to be straight, as a mom, seeing these fearless kids climb this tree scares the living daylights out of me! Mostly because, if it were MY child and they got to the top and fear set in, I'd be terrified at the thought of having to go up to get them!

So, why don't we climb the tallest tree anymore? We might get hurt. It's way too high. Grown ups don't do those things. You have...

A Simple Equation

The last few years, of my life have been...well...pretty interesting, to say the very least. Being a very cautious person, transitioning from turmoil to tranquility has taken some time; but, I'm there...and I'm loving where my life is at, right now.

Happy Birthday to the Weblog <aka BLOG>

Guess what celebrated it's 15th birthday yesterday?! The Weblog...better known, today as a 'blog'. Wow! Where has the time gone?

The blog has, certainly, come a long way over the last fifteen years, when it was first given it's name by Jorn Barger. Evergreen Content

I'm finding that there is so much to write about that I'm a little on 'information overload'. What do I write about first? What's not only interesting to me, but what would engage my readers and have them wanting more?

One thing I've learned is that you want to choose topics that are self-renewing. This is called "evergreen content"...information that just never goes out of date. This content really has to stay relevant for months or years, rather than on the short term....

How I Write A Fiction Book

How to write fiction? I'm sure that been asked many times. Fiction in one of the bestselling genres on kindle, people like to forget their everyday lives in a book.

Well fiction is one of the bestselling items on Amazon for a reason. We could all use a little fantasy and forgot our everyday boredom sometimes. I know I do. When we read fiction, we want action and adventure without dealing with the problems, and that’s where the hero of the story has to go through to get it.
