There are hundreds of wordpress plugings, perhaps even thousands, some work some do not, some promise to work but do not, some depend on the user to work.

The one thing about most plugins that you will not find is that very few of them actually help your wordpress website rank better in the search engines.

Sure there is the all in one SEO and that is great, because that is one of the better plugins, but by itself it will not really help improve your rankings at alexa....
