Why Is There a Quality Score?

Granted, this is kind of like a kid asking, “Why is the sky blue?”. This question, however, does deserve an answer.

There has been a flurry of activity over on the Official Google Blog today. The latest post goes into quite a bit of detail as to the reasoning behind Quality Score and what affects it.

The answer is simple. Search engines want to SELL ads “by the impression” but advertisers usually want to BUY ads “by the click”.

Hi folks Darren Webb Here Are you like a majority of people and do your Google searches with just the keywords your after?
Foe example if your searching for hound dog kennels…you will just type hound dog kennels…right ?
Well there are better ways you can improve on your searches that better define the search and the amount of websites that have the field you are looking for which I’ll show you in a second or two.

Fix Broken Links: Now There's No Excuse

You officially now have no excuse for not fixing those broken links. Today, Google has unveiled a new service called Webmaster Tools Crawl error sources. OK, OK, it doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, but it pretty darned useful.

“Crawl error sources displays the source URL containing the broken link to their site — no matter where it exists on the web.”

Ziggs: Who's Googling You?

Hub Pages Updates

I often leave Hub Pages for a bit and go back to check and see what's up or add new content, and here are some changes in the past couple of months you may not have noticed:
