Just do It!

Posted 7th October 2009 at 10:50 AM by shermancox

Trying to get everything perfect is the recipe for inaction. Everything will never be perfect. I am coming to the conclusion that it is better to wholeheartedly follow a flawed plan than to halfheartedly follow a great plan. And both are better than spending all your time constructing a plan.

As I continue working on the membership site, I am more and more aware of the fact that I have known enough to do this for years. Instead of waiting for the perfect plan, I needed to act. ...

Importance of Nicheing

Posted 7th October 2009 at 10:42 AM by shermancox

The last few days, I have talked to people who were not necessarily invovled in marketing either offline or online. Both gave me some advice that I had to turn down. They both told me to stop looking to address my niche and expand to the general public. One person said that if you expand to the general public you can make enough money to fund your foreays into your small niche.

The suggestion made sense to the two people, and it used to make sense to me in the past. Why focus on...

My twist on Microcontinuity/Membernaire is wearing me out. I made the mistake of creating a 15-20 page lesson every week in addition to a video of about 25-50 minutes.

Russel Brunson teaches that you do a video alone as I have talked about in previous posts on this blog. Jimmy D. encourages us to create a small 2-3 page lesson every week.

Neither encourage doing what I chose to do which is both. In addition, my lessons are pretty long. Now Jimmy D. Brown does have...

Is it Membernaire, Microcontinuity, or Something Else

Posted 24th September 2009 at 06:43 AM by shermancox

I did way too much reading before starting my membership program. I wish I had just taken the plunge, but one thing that I have learned is that a lot of these programs are essentially the same.

The biggest takeaway from membernaire, microcontinuity, and the membership masterplan of yaro starak is that you should have a "fixed term membership site." Sure they use different terms, but this is the key.

Now they do diverge some in...
