Time Freedom
I’m sure all us have heard the saying “time is money”? We’ve heard it from our mentors, our teachers/coaches, friends, colleagues, our family.
But, how true is this statement in today’s world?
It seems that many people are now slowly getting over the whole “time is money” thing. If you have read “Rich Dad Poor Dad”, you’ll know that the whole “time is money” concept is a very traditional employee or small business owner mindset.
This is rapidly changing, as many individuals from around the world are now seeking opportunities to be their own boss. People now are realizing that there are other ways or methods to make money, than working 9 to 5 jobs. Its common to now hear stories about your average guy who made an app and cracked it in digital industry… and now not only has complete financial freedom, but also time freedom!
And that is exactly the freedom that I’m talking about. A complete Time Freedom where, you can choose when and what to work on, where you don’t need to be told what to do, freedom where you don’t need to “plan” vacations, a complete Time Freedom where you can be proactive and be in control of your life, not the other way around.
However, this does not mean that you need to invent the next big thing on the internet in order to be a successful internet entrepreneur.
Take a simple concept of buying and selling, there is always gonna be money in that area for being just the middle man.
Think of a typical local store that been there for years, for example. On a lucky day it may have 2 to 300 general customers on a busy day… lets push it a little bit and say that every customer that walked in, spent money in this store – there is still always going to be a cap on how much it can make in a day. The point that I’m making here is that this store is highly unlikely to push its customer number line over 4-500 a day in its life time of probably being there.
Now, if you take this same concept of buying and selling, digitally, on the internet…. where you literally have the whole world at your fingertips, you really have the ability to scale your customer count to a total ridiculous number.
Building a business online and having a complete Time Freedom now is not only possible, but very achievable, but only if you put in your time and energy – just like you would in a typical business.
