Productivity is critical in this business, but its so hard with all the distractions. Cell phone, email, messaging, etc.

In high school and college I got good grades but was a famous procrastinator. Sort of learned that if I put the studying off just long enough, I was amazingly productive with the limited time I had remaining.

While I don't recommend that strategy, I did take some keys away from it. Zero distraction, 100% focus, and wow could I knock out a bunch of...

Don't you really hate it when you have to do a job, chore, study or anything else and you meet the deadline with nothing to show for ? This is often the case when you procrastinate. Procrastination shows itself very often to those who usually work online, or don't have a boss around to keep them on track. This doesn't mean that you are a bad manager of your time, it simply means that you aren't a good tactician in the war inside your brain.

Squirrel Distraction

I don't know about any of you, but distractions seem like an insurmountable issue.

Clearly, this old dog needs to learn some new tricks. No More Squirrel Chasin!

Firstly, its the sheer volume of messages I get each day leading to every tom, dick, and harry guru's latest wizbang dohickey.

Sorry.... I'm a junkie for this stuff.... Have been for way too many years.

I'm almost at the point where I have total control...

1. Focus like a champion!
2. Execute like a rockstar!

Pick one thing to FOCUS on - it may be your new blog, a new traffic method, generating leads for an offer or anything else you choose.

Don't DO anything else, until you take action and EXECUTE or implement the thing you were focusing on.

It doesn't have to be perfect.

Just good enough.

You can always adjust or modify it later.
