Alright you guys, so here is the deal..

I am a 23 years old guy whose parents are brokers at wall street.
I also studied for 5 years (Self Studying) Psychology,Physiology and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. (The art of controlling a sub conscious)

I know about convincing, I know its art, I reached the level where i am saying "Its less of a science and more of an art"

Past 6 years i contributed in a lot of sales letter writing offline such as flyer composition, selling tickets for events .. those kinda stuff.

An Internet marketer offered me 50$ for a sales letter of mine, he was doing great with it he really liked it(He said that the sales letter was converting at 10.5% with cold traffic) .I talked to another internet marketer and explained my situation (To know if i'm having a bright future in the online industry) he asked me to show him the sales letter i wrote for the guy who gave me 50$ in return.

He said that my sales letter could be valued at least 300$ minimum! So i was shocked. (I didn't know the pricing internet wise)

The bottom line is, Should i keep with writing sales letter for the internet marketing industry?

I need help and some guidance since it requires trust to buy from someone like me a sales letter. Judging by my profile status, i am still a newbie.

I am not.

Do you guys get my point? How can I build myself to reach a position of authority? I was thinking about offering my services for free here to gather a few testimonials then I would
expand by asking for money in return.

You could start by showing an exemplary use of the English language in your posts. Without a display of finely crafted words - perfect grammar, spelling, and punctuation, at the very least - it is somewhat unreasonable to expect your target audience to hold you in high esteem.

Well, I didn't want to ask the copywritters in specific, we the copywritters are hired by the internet marketers (Online wise), so that's why i wanted to ask for the general consult.

But I am really grateful for trying to help me. Godspeed man.

That's one way to go about it. Here's another:

    > Acquire a few high-quality white-label or resale rights products (may take some hunting, but they're out there).

    > Write your own sales letter and collateral for the product.

    > Use some of the standard traffic tactics from the marketplace (content marketing, PPC, etc.).

    > Document your conversion rates.

You reach a position of authority by demonstrating authority and expertise, and establishing a track record of results.

Your way might do that, if your freebies will let you show real results as opposed to offering vague testimonials.

My way will put money in your pocket. You will get the side benefit of confidence knowing you can deliver results for more than one product, confidence that will come through in your writer's voice. ($50 for a sales letter that supposedly converts at 10%+ puts you way up in the cheap seats. Even the $300 is pretty low if you can prove delivery.)

Well, I was thinking about proving myself through a product launch, but I believe I can do better if i only focused in what I do best which is writing sales letters only. Not the bother for launching and split testing etc.
