Writer platforms/high-end content mills

Hi

I'm not sure if 'writer platform' refers to something specifically different from a high-end content mill, but this is essentially what I'm looking for. An example is ZenContent. The income is decent enough but they don't always have work available. Can anyone suggest alternatives to fill the gaps?
#content #mills #platforms or highend #writer

IF you are a writer seeking work, then consider Freelancer. It is what they do and this is their forum, eh?

A good freelance writer, NEVER has to chase work, the work finds her.

Thanks for the reply. However I'm not looking for sites where you have to bid for work. I'm looking for sites where you apply once for a role and take your pick of the available tasks. They obviously exist - or is ZenContent unique?

Do they, ZenContent not have enough work to offer?

Good luck, let us know what you find, OK?

I just was asked to join a platform called Lionbridge, I haven't done any work on it yet however I have joined.

You basically set your price and people contact you with work. Is that what you mean?

If so, I can let you know how that goes.

From time to time I have used Freelancer, and it is pretty good. So long as you get a good profile set up. There are a lot of time wasters on there though... and people who want to screw you for a low rate. Which is super annoying.

    Good luck!

Thanks - I'll look into that.

But ZenContent is beginning to look increasingly unique. I don't mean any kind of online database along the lines of Freelancer, whether it has a bid system or encourages clients to find individual writers. I find these to be competitive to the point of being useless, i.e. they seem to require far too many dues to be paid before more lucrative work becomes available. If I'm putting in that much work, it might as well be on my own website.

With the ZenContent model, writers complete an application to access work. Actually it's similar to Copify, I suppose, but far more reasonably paid, as well as to the open jobs part of the Scripted model, but with actual work available. In other words, the idea isn't to compete for tasks but to work our way through them as part of a team. Any task can be claimed by any writer approved to work on the project.

In the first place, you're posting in the wrong section.

You can pay for an ad in the Warriors for Hire section and you can check out members looking to hire you.

I'm not looking to be directly hired through this forum. I'm asking more generally whether people know of companies similar to ZenContent

I was using freelancer, But it is a very laggy website for some reason. if you were going to use freelancer, make sure you mention the exact details and deliver on time. Its best to pre-write your work to upload to the free lancer and probaly ask if they have samples to present... If anyone knows a place where i can find freelancer writer who has leadership and and common mission to better our world please post it! =D Tried using iwriter but it mentions loading a a document and it didnt let me load the document so i chose rewrite article and it mentions to key down a keyword and im not specialised in keywords (The reasons why im looking for a writer)... Also many changed to upwork, but if theres any particular freelancer website that we can use please share - Thanks warriors!

Why you are finding writers platform ? If you are a good writer you should not think about the platform. Just start freelancig and run a blog. After some months of hardwork you will start earning much more then your expected salary.Go and make your own ways dear.
