How many words for this?

Hello Warriors

I'm offering a one hour zoom coaching call for clients and would like to have a script written for my presentation slides. Some parts of the call i will be showing a demo to clients all within that alotted time frame.

My question is how many words is the right amount for a one hour zoom call, I plan to use this script for each client, its my core offer in my funnel

I don't know how anyone could answer that...how fast do you talk? Focus on the TIME allotment - test some sample scripts and see how long they take and then proceed accordingly.

If this is your core product - wouldn't you be writing the script? Just curious.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

I talk kinda fast lol but im willing to go slow based on the slides, Yea its majority basic IM knowledge and I prefer to get it ghostwritten where i can review then tweak where necessary. I just didn't know if 5k-6k words was too much for something like this

What's the topic? Is it something easy to explain and do you anticipate much in the way of feedback during the presentation? What experience do you have with coaching and the material you'll be using?

As Kay says, it's impossible to answer with the info you've provided so far. But if you intend a one-on-one coaching session, it wouldn't be a good idea to try to fill the whole hour with your script. Otherwise you might as well pre-record it and offer it as a product.

Its internet marketing to mlmers, yeah its easy to explain for me. Yea i anticipate they may have a few questions not sure yet. I've gotten results with someone else using this method last year but i wouldn't consider it coaching just was like doing them a favor giving her advice that worked. But this will be my first time making it as an actual offer building a list etc. After a few sessions i plan to offer it as a product

To this point, in my corporate days I found that the vendors who were most successful at converting my company were those who made time to ask thoughtful/considered/pointed questions that evidenced a true understanding of my team's point of view and areas of concern. Imo it'd be useful to consider that element as well as you time out your scripts

I've decided to just order 500 words at a time to see how far that goes, I may need less words than I imagined

  • Prahblem with talkin' fast is how most people hear slow.

So anythin' ovah 135wpm gonna enter into territory where Minnie Mouse got Mickey's Fantasia broomstick shoved in her ass.

    Next step is the math.

What key stuff do I gotta say to lay evrythin' out sweet?

How crisply can i say this so I ain't makin' 270 words do the work of 135?

    Those are my pointers rn.

Plus also, the intention & direction of the words counts for way more than the volume.

So let's say my ansah to your question is X.

What you wantin' your audience to feel?

What you want them to do?

    What impression you wanna give?

    Fill your X with that.

    How many words?

May I suggest that the words themselves are more important? What they mean? What points you are making? What questions you are answering?

May I suggest that you just say everything that you need to say...and see how long that takes? That would be the correct length of the call.

Will you have it ghost written by someone who actually sells something? Someone who has done this before...successfully?

I'm joking. I'm sure you've thought this through already.

Remember, it is easy to realize someone is reading, so try as much as possible to sound natural.
