Copy Writers I Need A Headline Please

Any experienced copy writers that have a few minutes to spare please let me know your thoughts for a great headline for offering a moblie website to small businesses.

I'm looking for some great headlines /intros as to how a mobile website can help a small business. Obviously the idea is that the many users of smart phones need to find a local business quickly and how small businesses can benefit.

For those of you that don't know the normal website when viewed on a smart phone looks terrible and a mobile version is required to offer a quality service. Then a redirect is available depending on whether the user is using a desktop or mobile service when surfing.
So either a mobile or desktop website is offered to the surfer.

If you have any ideas please let me know in this thread or PM me.

Many thanks

John

GET YOURSELF A SIMPLE MOBILE WEBSITE THAT CAN BRING IN CASH FOR YOU FROM LOCALS.

I dunno much about it...but rite now I can think of this only. I know what a mobile website is as I'm using facebook through my mobile.

One technique that I can suggest you is listing all the benefits that a mobile website can provide to your customer. Select the best benefit and state it in your headline.

If you know anyone who used a mobile website and built his business then...state it in your headline too.

For e.g. SMALL BUSINESS OWNER FROM DALLAS MADE $XXXX BY JUST ADDING A SIMPLE MOBILE WEBSITE TO HIS BAG OF MARKETING TECHNIQUES.

    I hope this helps

    Warren.

    Hello John,

    Good luck with your project.

From your orginal post I couldn't tell rather or not you're promoting an info product about mobile marketing or a service, but I assume you're doing an info product.

At any rate, these headlines could easily be adopted to reflect a service as well.

Here are a few I came up with -

"Marketing Expert Reveals Little Known Secrets That Will Turn Your Small Business Website Into A Mobile Cash Magnet"

"I Dare You Not To Use These Mobile Websites Secrets For Your Business And NOT Dramatically Increase Your Traffic, Your Leads, Your Sales, And Your Conversions - 100% Guaranteed!"

"What If You Could Spy On A Mobile Marketing Genius And Ethically Steal His Astonishing Step By Step Shortcut Secrets On How To Convert More Mobile Website Visitors Into Cash?"

"Who Else Wants To Cash In Mobile Marketing Using This New Incredible Magic Formula?"

"Introducing The World's First Nuts & Bolts, Start to Finish, ULTIMATE Guide To Transforming Your Small Business Website Into A Mobile Friendly Cash Magnet!"

"If You Put This Missing Ingredient On Your Small Business Website, Then I Promise, No Wait...I GUARANTEE Your Leads And Sales Will Go Bananas!"

"An Open Letter To Every Small Business Owner Who Believes That You Don't Need A Mobile Website In This NEW Economy"

"Revealed At Last, The Amazing Website Secret That Will Put You In Front Of Nine Hundred Million Customers"

"Did You Know That There Are Ordinary, Average Small Business Owners Quietly Turning Their Websites Into Mobile Marketing Powerhouses?"

Hope these help and give you some ideas.

Well I'm breaking from the crowd on this one.

My assumtion from your "small business" owner is...

#1 He is an offline bussiness owner

#2 He may or may not have a website.

#3 He is frustrated by increasing advertising costs
      and lower results. Resents it.

#4 He doesn't understand or care for tech stuff.

With those assumtions we meet him where his simmering
      flash point is.

      --------------------------------------------------
      To the plumber who...

"Hates The Damned Adverising Costs Skyrocketing
And Results Going Down The Toilet"
      --------------------------------------------------

      Think he might read that?

Think you get your foot in the door?

      I think so.

You now have him on your side.

You spend some time talking with him about his day to day realities
      and the pain from it.

Then you can come in with the relief for it.

Don't get into internet marketing talk like we do on the forum...
      ...it's foriegn to him.

Remember the focus is relieving the guy from his frustration...
      ...not about your mobile website.

      All the best,
      Ewen

I believe asking for a headline is premature.

I think you really need to do the research on this, John.

I've talked with over 300 small business owners, toe to toe, over the last six months in Orange County.

While it's an interesting factoid that their website is not easily navigatable from a cellphone, their response is "Nice to know, but who cares, so what?"

The reality is their websites don't convert visitors into prospects, or prospects into customers--even with regular PCs and an Internet connection.

    So it doesn't matter.

So basically your service, even if they were even looking for it, isn't valuable enough to pay for.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade--in fact, it's the oppposite.

Because your service IS valuable when the website is optimized for conversion. For instance, you'd be surprised how many websites do not have a free offer or an offer that collects their name and email address. And even if they do have one, the conversion rates are about 1% to 2% MAX.

What I am saying is you need to do the research. Get out there and start talking to small business owners for yourself and see what they say.

Obviously, the mobile market is exploding, but small business owners need to understand the value and relevancy to their business.

Maybe a special report with a killer title would be more useful.
