Hi,

I am planning for a video sales letter for a new diet book... Can you all help me out with ideas for the script??? What all information should be provided???

I know about the 12 part fool proof sales letter template by David Frey. I am planning to follow that.. Just want a few inputs on what I could include in a sales letter.,..

Writing copy isn't as simple as that.

You want to do your own? Great... congratulations.

Start by reading the books recommended in the sticky in this forum.

Then hone your chops by writing again and again.

THEN you might be somewhere close to where your skills need to be to write a sales page.

Starting a business takes time, effort (and often money)...

...and an internet business is no different.

    -Daniel

P.S. No such thing as a foolproof sales letter... even the greats don't hit a home run every time.

I am planning to write a copy on my own. Its a video and I am planning to go with teh 12 point check list format. See the conversion rate and once some money starts flowing in, I may hire pro copywriters to come up with something great to improve the conversions

I started writing my own copy a year ago.

Let me tell you it is no picnic you have got to be able to convey your product in easy to understand yet powerful wording. I am learning but I tell ya it is awful hard to word things just right. Especially when the product is so darn good but your ability to convey that is so darn limited.

Getting the initial conversions is what is the hardest I found anyhow
      cheers
