First Forum Post, Inspired by my First Squeeze Page
I'm planning on lauching a 2-DVD set intended to prepare people to effectively defend themselves within the shortest possible amount of time. The cost will be about $ 150 and I'm using article marketing to build a list before ordering my first run of 100 copies of my product.
Could you guys please look at my squeeze page and give me your uncensored opinions and advise? I know, the page is a very simple one, but I'm just trying to get a decent copy and structure going. I'm worried that it might be a little too long, but I can't find anything that I can afford deleting without detracting from the message I'm trying to get across:
The Extreme Measures Institute--Extreme measures against extreme threats
Please compare it to another page that I made for another product, which included a video: The Extreme Measures Institute--Extreme measures against extreme threats
Should I try to put a video or picture in the first page?
If so, then where?
Is the opt-in box ok where it is, or should I put it between the first and second paragraphs?
One more, unrelated question: My plan is to get to 1000 subscribers before the launch, to make a little money quick, to get at least the money invested for the copies back relatively quickly (two or three sales would be enough.) In your experience, is that waiting too long, or what kind of immediate profit could I expect from a list of that size for such a product in that price range? This is a very rough draft of my sales page: Fear no Man--Extreme Defense Measures for Surviving Savage Street Confrontations
