Is My Sales Page Adwords Ready?

Hello my fellow warriors.
Firstly I just want to thank you for the awesome advice you give on here.
It is amazing how much an individual could learn by reading up on this forum.

So I made a sales page and want to test it with Google Adwords.

I will pay to have my YouTube Ad displayed and when people click it it will take them to my sales page. Does everything look within Google TOS? I have a phone meeting scheduled with a Google rep on Tuesday that will take a look at my site.

Also what do you guys think of my sales page? I am planning on raising the price to $27 since $17 might make it look too cheap which it isn't. This is by far the best jumping program on the market. I am all eyes and ears because Tuesday will be a big day for me.

Thank you very much.

Looks like a pretty solid salespage Maks, not too shabby. One thing about sales pages is the "call to action" vibe you give off, and I think you managed that pretty well here. It's always up to you to decide to beginning of an adwords campaign, but I think you're pretty set to move forward.

    Cheers!

As a reader I'm looking for more "reason why" in terms of how the system works.

I don't think it's enough to say you looked at how football players trained and how basketball players trained.

I would label your method something like... "The XYZ system/method/formula that lifts you from..."

You don't have to give away your training secrets but it might help to label them with a cool and sexy name that ties into the benefits of your product.

There's other stuff, but that's what I immediately saw lacking from a quick look.

    Good luck!

I'll be surprised if Google approves your campaign. They don't particularly like sales pages, especially those with hypey-sounding headlines.

If they do approve it, considering the cost of clicks, your chances of making a decent ROI are slim to none at the $17 price point. And Slim just left town.

Most merchants these days are making their money on the back-end. So if you have other products or services to promote to your buyers, they might get you into positive ROI territory.

Thanks for the reply I appreciate it.

I have a phone call meeting with a Google rep and he should tell me if it is clear. I thought Google was only against squeeze pages? And as long as I got my contact, privacy and terms tabs I should be fine?

My traffic comes from my utube videos and my conversion rate on the page is exactly 1%.

I'm thinking if I run a utube ad and spend $100 for 850 views at $0.12 per click. And if my conversion rate is as low as .6 I will still make $119 back for the $100 I spend with the product at $17

But I am thinking of raising the price to $27 so I will just need to have a .5% conversion rate off my utube ads to sell 5 copies and make $135 when spending $100.

Does $17 look too good to be true when most programs in my market go for $29 to $67? Does $27 make it look more legit?

        Alex is exactly right.

I've lost count of the number of times I've tried to run an Adwords campaign to pages like yours, and every time Google said...no way.

But whats worse is that I was going back to them asking them how I could improve the page so that it would meet with their Adwords TOS.

The Adwords rep continued to give me advise, I'd make the changes and resubmit the page for approval, then I'd get knocked back again.

This changing and resubmission process went on for 5 weeks, until in the end, they decided to ban my Google account completely.

Check your budget, pricing, and conversion rate assumptions against the PPC calculator and make sure there's a chance of winning. $17 products are tough to make money with on Google AdWords.

Thank you very much for the calculator it is awesome!

My conversion rate is 1% of my utube videos. So if I spend $100 for 850 clicks than my conversion rate would need to be .6 at the lowest for me to actually profit. 17*6=119.

How hard would that be to get .6% conversion? Also will raising the product to $27 make a difference? Because I think $17 makes it seem too good to be true.

Lastly why are $17 products hard to make money with?

You're paying 11 cents per click with Adwords?

This one is simply not going to work. Check your competitors, do they have pages like this up on adwords?

I think you did very well in comparison to similar sales pitch sites.
You are in person convincing that you really have a programm that can achieve that. I cant see that with natural leap and would never buy there without somone showing me the success in person.

My problem(and probably googles) with these pages is, that once I see this typical one page layout(the top tabs look not important at all) with a fake book cover and the fake price striked through, that im going to be screwed.
Every shitty product uses this same basic layout. It just doesnt look honest and natural. The money back guarentee etc. ..does anyone do it all?

The dunk now page lacks the personality but it does look at first sight like somebody is selling a serious/different product.

Without knowing you I would go click straight backwards after seeing your sales pitch website.

But note im from europe and I think these pages might work better in the US.(judging from TV commercials etc.)

A personal blog from you where you have an extra sales page and maybe some posts including your other vids or some short blogs/articles about bball/nba or jumping in general would be much nicer and more natural/trust worthy.
You could also link your other yt vids there once you do one. Or interviews how the programm worked for others. One post per wek might be enough to put you far ahead of your competition.
I think it would also fit your personality better. Cause thats your strength vs. your competitors who are not connected with a person and look by further inspection unreal.
You would get traffic that comes back.
I also think google would like it much more.

Basicly you seem like an authority in this field and your page should follow that.

This guy has been running on Adwords for years in the fitness niche: MAX Workouts by Shin Ohtake - High-Intensity Workout Routines That Get You Lean & Fit, Fast! It's a great product and he's an honest guy.

You should sign up for coaching from Perry Marshall if you're really serious about AdWords. He'll get you squared away.

          I hope this helps.

The problem is there's too much going on in your page. When I land on your page my brain gets confused, and I don't know whether or not I'm supposed be watching the video, whether I should follow some of the links at the top of the page, whether to read the content.

The reason I'm saying this is because when someone arrives at your page from Google AdWords, there are 500 other options on the Internet they could be looking out and they're not going to stop to read your entire pager listen to a 10 minute video that comes from an unsolicited advertisement when they looking for a solution to their problem.

You're not going to have the chance to get them to know much about you right away, no company is, so you need to be really clear and focus on what you want them to know the second they land on your page, and as a marketer, it's also your job to lead and direct the person to where you want them to go, and what actions you want them to take.

Also, I can bet that your website doesn't sound any different from any of the other vertical jump websites your readers are going to look at, so you have to also ask yourself why would they go with you? because you're not promising them anything that anyone else hasn't already promised to them 1000 times before.

Basically, it's not even that your product is bad, or that you're marketing is bad, it's just all over the place and your issue comes down to focus, and needing to be really clear on what you want the reader to know the moment they went on your page ESPECIALLY if you're using AdWords.
