I need to setup a payment gateway in woocommerce for large sales $10,000-20,000. Can anyone please provide expert advice on what the best way to do this might be?

Every payment gateway accept large sales like : Stripe , Square , BrainTree only you need open a ticket support and explain the reasons of this big sales.

There are a ton of payment gateways for Woo; you need to find a payment processor/bank who will actually allow you to process such massive sized orders. That's going to be next to impossible to do unless you have amazing credit and a proven track record processing large orders. There is no doubt in my mind that they would require a pretty massive reserve be held to insure them against future fraudulent orders.

Frankly, we wouldn't dream of accepting orders that large on credit cards. One fraudulent order could put a whole lot of hurt on you. When we sell ultra expensive things, we require direct bank wires or money orders.

What do you suggest is the best way to build a checkout that uses a direct bank wire? Is there a third party that can do this?

There is no checkout that I know of that does this (it doesn't mean there isn't one, just because I do not know about it). We have the customer contact us and we then give them the bank transfer information. I know it sounds like a hassle, but when you are selling things that are that expensive, I assure you, there will be very few times per day where you will be picking up the phone or responding to Emails.

I would strongly urge people who are new to the eCommerce game to stay away from ultra expensive products like this. One wrong move and you are putting yourself in some serious financial jeopardy.

We accept plenty of credit card purchases over $10K. You have to work directly with the merchant bank. If you have good history it is best to go with Wells Fargo or Chase Paymentech. If not, there are a lot of brokers that will handle these types of transactions, but you need to be totally transparent with them on what you are selling, how product is delivered, return and refund process etc.

If you have a good credit history private bank Cater Allen will accept this arrangement, I use them as well as Stripe and Paypal but I have a long history with PP.

The suggestion by Gary Chapple MAY work if you are located in Great Britain or maybe the EU (although Brexit may have changed that). The solution that "easyquestion" suggested MAY work if you are located in the USA. Your profile does not indicate where you are, so I'm not sure if either helps you.

According to Alexa, only 36% of Warrior Forum traffic is from the U.S. and only 9% is from the U.K.. Chances are, neither solution helps you based on those stats but if they do, let us know how it works out!
