Hey Warriors are these Email Extractors okay to use for lead generation. Is it legal to send emails to leads gathered through the email extractor and if it is then any recommendations on a good email extractor

Any help would appreciate that

Sending email towards persons who didn't given you the authorization to do it is called SPAM. So, a high risk (to be blacklisted by DNS based email blacklists and banned by your email hosting service because of bounces and complaints) for a low result (tiny chance your recipient reacts to your call-to-action). In my opinion, the best is to build an opt-in list (ie. a list containing email addresses from consenting persons).

Scraping email addresses is no different than opening a phone book (do those even exist any more?) and copying a bunch of phone numbers. No targeting, no idea if they'd even be interested. This isn't 'lead generation', it's an exercise in futility.

Build a good landing page and drive targeted traffic to it.

Scraping for B2C will just end up getting you a bunch of spam complaints and your account most likely terminated. You should be OK with B2B if your message is targeted. If you check out the offline marketing forum, there are guys that do this all the time.

No it is a blackhat method you will get a lot of problems like ISP problem. You can use those lists at your risk. They may convert well or not no conversion at all.

Yeah, definitely a bad idea. The SPAM act is pretty strict about this stuff. I actually had a buddy a few years ago get in big trouble for scraping emails and sending them to his ebook offer.

The sad thing is he was actually making a lot of traction (making sales) scraping tons of emails and just sending them to his offer. That's no way to run a long term business though.

Its a quick way of generating leads and collecting email address of your target audience. Use a decent email extractor for accurate scraping and get best results.

It depends if you know how to do it correctly. Companies do it all the time, the ones that succeed are the companies that know exactly what not to do. It's not complicated at all, but if you don't know what your doing, you could get you ip address put on blacklists, which would cause issues for anyone in your house or place of business to email even their own friends.

It depends. It could be ok if it's B2B in an industry where buyers post their email on an industry website with the specific purpose of getting the sellers to contact them. In this case, if you are in that industry and you have the product they're looking for, they will be happy to hear from you.

However, you still have to know what you're doing when scraping the website. What you're doing exactly is using a robot/script to crawl a website and extract data. This is definitely a gray area. If the TOS of the site does not allow scraping, you're not supposed to do it. However, Google does the same thing routinely everyday.

Bad idea, and I can say that because I've done it. I was naive about some of those things early on and gave a relative of mine permission to use my server for sending emails scraped.

Really bad idea. I had people wanting to kill me (several threats in the mail), got my entire IP blacklisted and every domain on it, plus several different types of marketing accounts terminated from complaints. Total nightmare. Took awhile to clean things up.

Just don't do it. Way more trouble than it's worth, and you'll make some vehement enemies if you do, who'll do everything they can to stop you and put you out of business.

I would not recommend this method of email extraction. It can increase bounce rate and the result will also be non productive.

This is a bad idea. You will most likely get into trouble by doing this. Work and create your own email list, in doing this you will get better traffic, sales, conversions, whatever.

You have no idea what you are talking about!
It's clear that you only posted this garbage to promote the offer in your sig file....

I am not purposely here to promote my offer, meanwhile it is no a garbage.... I am here to share as a passion. It is true I put my offer in sig but it is just a privilege for my sharing.

The method I specified is an alternative to solo ads but this one is for free. Instead of buying solo ads for hundreds of dollars, you can get natural signups from extracted emails.
