Email Marketing question? (Newbie)

Hi guys. I'm new on WF and my understanding of the whole EM biz may not be on point but here's what I'm mainly struggling with.

- Makes lead page
- Uploads a free product for example: five tips for healthy weight loss sheet given once the person has sent his/her email address in
- Drives traffic to those pages
-Collects emails which soon turns into an email list

Then I am lost.

How exactly will I be making money from this?

I am just going to be testing the waters, so I am not actually selling a product here nor do I have any experience in that department yet. I am just not understanding how this will be making me money? Will the people whom I sign up with to make my lead pages pay me or... Or will I have to join an affiliate program and if so how will I work my around that?

If there are any posts here answering my questions, I couldn't find them. That's why I decided to ask myself!

    Welcome to the world of internet marketing friend...but i think you still have a lot to learn before you start making some money online. but don't lose heart, it seems you are on the right track. There are a lot of things that can make you money on the internet including affiliate marketing, freelance work, selling your own products on Amazon or ebay etc. the number of ways are just too numerous to mention, you just need to find your pick or interest.

    First of all welcome to the WF

    Depending on the niche I'd say you got most of it right.. the key here is to continuously have something to promote in your email follow up sequence or brodcasts emails.

    You must be

    A) selling your own products
    B) selling affiliate offers

    The more emails you send, the more money you'll make . It's really that simple .

    You make money by promoting products to the people on your email list. You can sell your own products or other peoples products.
