IP blacklist and EMail Keywords

Yesterday I posted a thread promoting my experience with SendForensics.com but I see now that a mod or someone deleted it. Why? Are we unable to praise companies that improve our business?

I started email marketing back in 2010. Things were so easy back then that I never took the time to learn the importance of IP reputation, scores, keywords, phrases of text, etc. It's not because I was lazy - it's because things were working GREAT!

Times have changed and I understand now how important these factors are. So a month ago I found a company that will allow me to track all of these metrics. Knowing how it has helped me in just a month I decided to let the rest of you know about it. Someone who wants to suppress your success decided that you should not know about SendForensics.

Why was the post deleted?

Surely you do not think I work for them. I've been a member here longer than their company has existed. I'm in the US and they are in some other country. You can Google my username and see that it has existed since 1999 and has ties to the company (other than this post).

So what gives?

You can post all the info you are talking about without promoting a company.

You are not allowed to self promote in a post, and no one knows if you have ties to the company or not and why you are praising them, regardless of what you say.

If someone was to ask for recommendations, then you could recommend a company.

That is my guess as to what happened.

You guys may be right but I've had an account for 11 years and I'm not going to risk it to promote a company that I financially do not benefit from.

I found the company online after doing a search for a service since they spoke at a recent email marketing conference in Las Vegas. I had never heard of them prior to that and I assume others have not either.

From my selfish standpoint, the more customers they have requesting new features, the better the service will become.
