Setting up smtp for my email server

Hello,

I'm looking for setting up an smtp for my own mail server in order to send out 100k emails per day.

What could you recommend me as an efficient solution for an affordable price?
Is it PowerMTA, Postfix or others?

Thank you very much!

The thing with own mail servers are that it's very hard to avoid spam folder. Especially when you want to send 100k emails. It works for personal mailboxes. But takes a lot of work setting up DNS records and such.

I suggest Sendy. It's dead cheap when installed on an unmanaged VPS and configured with Amazon SES. It's fairly easy to setup too. Here's a tutorial,
    https://vpsfix.com/5920/install-send...tualmin-nginx/

Even with that, you have to compile with Amazon SES terms. Which can be a nightmare sometimes.

Amazon SES is good server to sending a lot of emails, but it's risky too because it's not easy to compile all requirements from Amazon SES when you're sending 100k emails/day.

I've been using mailchimp for a while but unfortunately it doesn't allow to send emails to a purchased list.

PostUp does allow sending of emails to a purchased list but regardless of what platform you do choose, deliverability can of course suffer depending how the list is cleansed etc.

100k daily is a small volume, you could use PowerMTA it have an amazing features to control the sending and deliverability. few IPs and couple domain name and you could achieve that.

Most importantly! you need to have good data and follow good sending practice to maintain good delivery late.

If you need help setting up mail server or cleaning data PM me.

    Good luck!
