Can i use identical email content of a competitor?

Hello there,

I intend to start an "Email Marketing" Campaign. I saw that one of my competitors is using great content in his email campaign.

So, I'd like to use the same email sequence as my competitor for my campaign, "word for word".

With that said, is there any kind of "Google Penalty", "Domain Blacklisting", or "Spam flagging" for me if I use the same content as my competitor?

NOTE: This is NOT cold emailing, I'll be sending emails only to people who subscribe to my newsletter.

You are proposing theft - stealing someone else's work product and claiming you wrote it. Is your newsletter also plagiarized? You KNOW this could be a copyright violation - if you don't know it's wrong, you should not be working online IMO.

If in the same niche or product...good chance some on your list may also be on the competitor's list. Interesting the only worry you seem to have is what will happen if you are 'caught'....Many things could come of that - and none of them good.

I want to get a proof of concept first, that is that content works for me, then I will personalize it for sure. I see a lot of value that I can add and edit to it.

Is it forbidden to study what's working for your competitors?

After I see that it's converting then I'll start personalizing it in my own way.

Hi Kurosaki4d. I'd like to get proof of concept that email marketing works. Please send me your subscriber list and any content you've provided thus far. Once I see that it's responsive for me, I can start to build my own list.

        Cheers!

First of all, I'll never give away my subscribers list, and even if I did give it to you, and supposedly your content is on-point, they might mark you as spam because you didn't get their consent to send any emails to them, so your request doesn't make much sense.

I get your question though, you're trying to be sarcastic, but why would I build an entire email sequence only to find out later that it was the wrong approach, I'll rewrite the emails and personalize them in my own way to make them different and more valuable.

You speak as if it is wrong to build on existing concepts? Like you have to reinvent the wheel everytime?

There's a major difference between building on
existing concepts and snagging other people's
            content, "word for word."

But you are going to do what you want to anyway,
so why did you even bother to post your question,
when you already knew the answer.

You, and all the other lazy IMers on here, lack the
entrepreneurial spirit to ever be successful, so just
carry on spinning your wheels, stealing content,
and seeking validation for things that are just
            plain wrong.

PLEASE NOTE that rhetorical questions do not
end with a question mark, nor do they require a
            response.

I am open to criticism, and it's true that I was looking for some kind of validation for my initial intent.

Some of the answers here make sense, I think picking the same topics from those emails are necessary, because they can't be dismissed, as to their content I think I might use AI to generate different drafts and customize them personally.

How's that? Do you think it will still be susceptible to be seen as a "snagging" to the competitor?

You're simply a thief! Plagiarist! and criminal!
Why the hell would you behave in such a manner.

I would not only blackball you, but would list you as such in all social media sources.

Maybe you sound harsh, but you don't seem to get what others have already told you, so it was time for the sledge hammer.

If you continue, I recommend that the Warrior forum admins ban you from here as well.

If you are using the CONTENT from another marketer's site/blog/email, etc....in any way - without that marketer's permission....

It is not acceptable - never has been....never will be.

Use AI as a starting point and then write unique emails to your own list? There is no excuse you can give that will make taking content you don't own copyright to and using it as your own. Doesn't matter if you rewrite, AI it or whatever.,,,do not take and use another person's content as your own.

You asked the question - you have the answer.
