Hi Roy. When my creative juices aren't flowing, I head over to theplrstoredotcom (not an aft. link). They have complete email series in any niche ready to go. I never send them out the way I get them.I use them as an outline and re-write them. The price is pennies. Good Luck

      Roy Tee,

Email marketing is all about building a relationship, and letting your personality shine through your emails. Simple as that.

Some I follow when it comes to email marketing is Mark Tandan and Lee Murray. They are both stellar when it comes to building relationships, and when it comes to personality, dont be afraid to use it

Some of my best conversions have come from when I really just use the email like I am talking to a friend and let my personality really shine

I can't, but I can recommend six Warrior Forum threads which, between them, cover just about all the basic concepts and fundamental principles of email marketing, and are packed with tips. I suspect that, for most people's purposes, these six threads actually add up to quite a bit more than you'd get out of most "email marketing WSO's" (many people have certainly said so, anyway) ...

    Here's an easy way.

Setup a gmail account and signup for the lists of people promoting offers similar to what you are trying to promote.

Evaluate them and only signup for those who are active and in the top spectrum.

This should give you some ideas about how to structure your emails and topics to write about. You can get on Ben Settle and Troy White's lists. I believe they have daily email marketing tips.

Some good tutorials that have benefited myself over the years are some Products that Matt Bacak has to offer.

This guy is a master of email marketing and has numerous WSOs which are just plain crazy for the price.

You can google him and find these products which can assist you in email copy.

Remember though In the end you will have to develop your own personality and style when communicating with your List !
As this stuff can only enhance your skills to a certain degree

I should point out that "WSO of the Day" is not an award that is won. It's simply the offer being featured that day. Being WOTD has nothing to do with the quality of the product.

The fact that someone like you makes an uncompensated recommendation means far more than "WSO of the Day"...

Roy, skip the WSO section and get Paul Myers's "Killer Copy" product. It would be cheap at twice the price.

Close your eyes and think of someone special to you (not a sexual partner) so family friend or pet.

Feel that warmth that you get and make it bigger let that feeling encompass your body, now write your email as if you are writing to them be passionate and authentic and you are a long way to writing an engaging email.

Particularly on the structuring and content of writing an email - as mine suck....

    Many Thanks

A few folks here mentioned some really good email writers.

Ben Settle is great. Matt Furey's emails contain the best stories you'll ever read... which is what gives his emails their uniqueness.

I'm reading a really cool book by Jon Benson called Open, Click, Buy... .that is all about email marketing and is really good.

But the key is... try to find your own voice and personality.

If you model others too much... you may start to take on their voice. And why would anyone read an email from you that models someone else... when they can just read that other person's email.

Try to build a list of your own rabid fans... and it all starts with just being yourself, finding your own voice and uniqueness.... but doing it in a way that stands out and makes you unique and different... and HELPFUL.

If you're entertaining, if you're helpful, unique, different, try to offer solutions to problems your list has... you WILL write decent emails.

I posted a thread below that I wrote last year, it got a lot of good feedback.

But more importantly, it's one I've used for almost 14 years online now... and has sold multiple millions in my niches, so I know it works.

Basically, I know that all emails have to get opened for it to even matter... so I try to have a subject line that's like a headline... and is something that jumps out at my target market.

If your subject lines are like all the rest, it just gets deleted.

so for me, one thing that has worked well is to always focus on my market's biggest pain points.

I've learned over the years that more people will do what they can to avoid pain than gain pleasure.

so, for me... subject lines that highlight a huge "I lie awake at night thinking about this problem" problem... those work well for me.

And I start out the email addressing that problem again... but then I try to weave in an entertaining story or some kind of info-tainment that gets them reading to the end... wanting to click on my link.

If you send out straight hype or sales pitches... you're going to lose your list.

but, if each email offers up at least one golden nugget... you'll gain subscribers.

Anytime I go to write a sales letter... I focus on addressing one big idea... and try to offer up the solution to one main problem.

That works in email too... try to focus on solving one big problem... and then write your email like it's a greased slide... getting them to the end so they want to click.

I guess you can call it "preselling" your link that's in the email.. but either way, I've always had good luck when I focus on ONE big problem that my market has... and use that email to talk about solving that.

Then, at the end, you give them a link to click that offers up more info on solving that problem.

So you give just enough value and content to let them know you can help them... and you've proven it with your valuable info... then you tell them they can get more where that came from.

That's where you give the link.

That template has worked well for me... I've won so many affiliate contests with it.

While other affiliates simply send out the same boring swipes that everyone else is... if you stand out and really show you're trying to help the reader... you'll stand out.

Anyways, here's that thread I posted last year that explains it more in detail....

Just make sure that you write as if you are talking to the person and informing them. Dont be too pushy and dont sound like you are selling something. Make catchy subjects that would not let the reader delete it right away.

    Good luck!

Building a list is all about providing value showing them who you are. If you can do that than you will have a responsive list. Do not come off as a used car salesman. People buy from who they know, like and trust.

There's one thing that i came across regarding online marketing which is true, and which defines pretty much my whole philosophy regarding online marketing.

" When you're marketing online, think of it like you're marketing to your customers one to one. Don't give them anything that you wouldn't recommend to a friend"

This is how marketing should actually be like. Same goes for emails, When you're writing your email write it as you're talking to a friend. Use humor, genuinely helpful information, and no sales pitch.

Its a slow process, but you'll be building long lasting customer relationships this way.
I always find "winning email" (not an affiliate link) to be useful for learning about email marketing and email deliverability.
