E-mail + Clickbank metrics

Hey guys,

What kind of e-mail open rates and click through rates would you aim for on your autoresponder series? I know it varies, but just looking for a general idea

I'm a bit worried that even though I get 80 opt-ins a day, I can only get like 30 opens a day so that doesn't give me too many chances to sell.

I guess an autoresponder is meant to be exponential and long term, but it seems hard to get many sales when you can only send so many hops to clickbank a day.

To clarify, if I'm selling on say my emails 5-7 and I get 25% open rate, that means only 60 people will read my sale each day...if I get 20 of them to click through and convert at 5%, that's only 1 sale

    Test, test, test! And turn that frown upside down. There are many people on these forums that would do heel clicks for 1 sale per day!

    First off, what is your conversion rate to the list? Are you converting 50% of cold traffic to your list? 70%? A/B test to get that number up and instantly you are generating more leads with the same amount of traffic.

    #2 - Test subject lines on your emails to find out what works to get you the best open rates

    #3 - Test calls to action in the emails to find out what gets you more clicks....

    Do more of what works and let go of what doesn't work... Then keep testing!

    But really, be sure you are TAKING ACTION! Sounds like your thoughts have you digging your heels in before you have any real-world data to back up any of your estimations.

    The one way to guarantee you won't make any money is to not try... Once you start trying, just keep testing, tweaking and tracking to get better and better results.

      Of course I test. I already do a couple hundred a day on cpa. I see you're in the IM niche lol.

    Build a better relationship with your readers, aim for higher open rates. Aim for say 50%.
    Ask your subscribers why they aren't reading your emails. is it because you sell too much or
    your emails have no valuable content.
