I need a guide about List Building

Hey guys,

I was wondering if there is a PROPER guide about List Building.

I mean just about how to setup everything from start.

I just need this start. I don't need a guide how to drive traffic to that squeeze page (I know traffic sources well enough), I just need a guide how to setup that squeeze page along with an autoresponder, hosting, domain name etc. etc.. because I feel kinda confused about autoresponders and it's workings.

If there is such a thing, I would be very happy to have a look at it. Thanks

      Why not youtube it?

      Especially if you're gonna use aweber. There are hundreds of good vids that will show you how to set it up. And there are tons of good squeeze page templates too.

      Don't worry about getting things perfect. Just worry about getting things going. Then you can test and tweak as you go along.

      Paul Nicholls has some really cheaply priced tutorials that are very good at Warrior Plus.

      I also like Matt Bacak. He is very talented at List building and has made a nice sum of money doing it.
      You can check out his sight at www.mattbacak.com. Good stuff

      Getting the basics down with a sales funnel takes a little time. Once you get it, then you can really set and forget in many cases.

      You just start promoting your List and build it and make tweaks here and there with your Funnel.

      And also of course track your Conversions on a regular basis.

        I second that. I've seen that Paul have some good videos for newbies. The best thing is to get the basics with Paul's videos, and later on, you can check what Matt has to offer to go to the next level.

    Actually there is no proper guide for list building, actually search engines will change the algorithms continuously, These time guide doesn't helps. We need to know clear steps as well as updates regarding the algorithm.

    A guide for list building..

    Well there is many ways to go about this.

    Number one goal is to educate your readers about something you know and love.
    Then figure out how to monetize that list to pay Mailchimp or Aweber for their services and then your time.

    Note: If you're not making money from 700 people in your list, you need to tighten your focus and get higher quality subscribers.

    You do this by the content you promise. If you promise email marketing tips and then try to sell an eBook about fly fishing when they're in. They're not going to buy into you.

    You could have a pond full of fish, but with the wrong bait, go home hungry. Once you build the pond, give them what they signed up for.

    Guest posting, creating content, doing contest, and publishing ebooks are great ways to build that list.

    magic guru squeeze page is easy to use and make nice squeeze pages, get response is the autoresponder that I use and hostgator for webhosting/domain name
