It depends on many factors. You can send an email once a day, once a week, or once a month. It all depends on the value you bring to your list. If you can bring amazing value to your list every day, this is the most profitable way to go about making money from your list. But if not, then less is more advisable.

You have the option of sending out messages several times a day, once a day, weekly, monthly or whatever you choose. Here are some suggestions based on my own experiences, although everyone has their own opinions:

    - For the first 3 or 4 days, send one message a day. You want to remind your readers who you are, and why they signed up with you.
    - After the first few days, begin to leave longer spaces between your messages. Space them 3 days apart, then 5 days, then weekly.
    - If you send too many emails (i.e, every day for weeks on end, or, heaven forbid, more than one a day, you'll be seen as a spammer, and people will unsubscribe real fast.

My advice is to just dive in and do what you think is right. It's good to learn as you go!

What works for one marketer may not work for another..

In other words, nothing is written in stone. Test and see what works for you... Personally I get best results by emailing them every day.

Hi Job, just like what 60SPS said, depends on many factors and segmentation you have.. I currently send a broadcast every 2-3 days to maintain the relationship..

I guess the most important part is not how many messages you send but what is on your email

I definitely agree here and of course what expectations you set to your subscribers. If you want to email them a lot tell them right when they sign up that they will receive mailings and why they should read them.

I send emails to my list everyday. Some people are thinking sending emails every day is scamming BUT if want to give value to your subscribers so That's not scamming. You will get nice profit sending emails every day!

Everyday for the first 30 days. And thereafter every other day.

I run a Course, so I want to keep Continuity and expectations consistent and at a all time high right from the git go.

People say everyday will burn out your List.

        Poppycock I say !!

Not if you are really giving out good stuff and 'cementing' those expectations from the beginning

I think they probably think it's "spamming", rather than "scamming"?

It doesn't have to be either. There's nothing intrinsically wrong with sending daily email to people who knew before they signed up that that was what they were signing up for. It's all about subscriber-expectations and continuity.

    Normally six.

A bit more, when they're "new subscribers": I send email on days 1, 3, 6, 10 and 15 and thereafter at 5-day intervals, with a "promotion" in the last third/half of one email in three. Normally.

According to the testing I've done, in various niches, if I send more frequently than that, I make less money because not only do attention-rates and open-rates decline, but even the pro-rata purchases from the remainder reduce as well (which surprised me a little). My open-rates are very high, and my objective (not always quite achieved, and not always even very easily measured, either!) is for 50% of my subscribers to buy one or more products during the email series they receive.

People's replies to your question inevitably vary greatly according to their traffic demographics (and even slightly according to their niches, as well).

Here's another thread in which many other people answer your question (and other closely related ones): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5300985
