Traffic Siphon -- Any reviews out there?

I'm getting pitches from gurus about Traffic Siphon. It's appears to be a video training course on white, gray (and apparently a few black) hat traffic generation methods. At the time I'm writing this, it's priced at $77. As usual though, the LONG sales letter is playing up the scarcity tactic and claiming that the price is about to increase. However, the course does look intriguing, but I've learned the value of running prospects past the Warrior Forum before making any purchases... So, anyone picked it up yet? If so, what do you think thus far? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was looking for info as well and only find your thread with zero answers to date...

I do have to say it's one of the few times I get screaming pitches from top guys about a $77 product. Usually it's for $997++++ material.

The sales pitch didn't convince me, but who could not use a few new ways to get traffic?

I am FAR from a serial refunder, even when I would have been justified to get a refund in the past, but my 2010 mood is that if you get me hyped about something you better deliver or I'm out the door.

I hope there are pdfs in there cause I dislike listening to tons of videos personally. So in essence, I'll probably get it later today unless I find reasons to
    change my mind.

Hey, dude, read the post above this one all right?

Some video courses are exclusively video. This one has written content from the videos, which I prefer - and that's what I wanted to know. Easier to go back to, less notes to take, more quick to read and focus on some main point.

            Please login and look again.

We've added transcripts to all of the videos.

So under the videos, you have:

            1. Transcripts

            2. Notes taken on the strategies with screenshots in a lot
of cases, and then put in a PDF.

So we've loaded this course up to include everything -
along with some additional bonus videos that have
            been added.

We just opened the doors one last time.

Hey guys, I'm one of the creators of Traffic Siphon and
pretty active here on the Warrior Forum. (long time
    member!)

I'd be happy to answer any questions that any of you
    have about Traffic Siphon.

Awhile ago before we went live, we ran a wso to get
some beta testers in to make sure everything was
    running smoothly.

Here's a few testimonials that other Warriors posted
    who got Traffic Siphon:

This has been a great week here for WSOs...and it's only Wednesday!!

And thanks for your help - we had a little glitch at registration but it was resolved quickly!

Thanks - this is a real WSO!

Your sales page did get me to buy and I am glad I did. People need to realize that they need to diversify their links and look towards a long term approach and not some fast link building scheme.

While some of the videos and techniques I am familiar with, there are 1-2 alone that are worth the price, let alone all 19.

I have 8 more to go and then I plan on setting up a spreadsheet to consistently track some of the link building methods you mentioned and do these every week.

I see you are from the Houston area too, keep up the great work!

    Not so with Traffic Siphon.

I must admit, the ad engaged me, drew me in and when I saw the price I thought, "It's only $27, and maybe I'll find a few useful pieces of information."

After viewing, all I can say is "Wow!" (Well, actually I can say more...)

I'm torn between saying run, don't walk, and get this great WSO. The videos are very professionally done and pack a lot of information. The videos range from about 5 minutes to about 30 minutes, depending on the topic. But in each video I found at least one nugget of good information, and in some videos I found a lot!

On the other hand, I want to say don't bother with getting this, just so I can keep the information to myself! It's powerful stuff, folks.

Who would this be best for? Maybe not for absolute newbies who haven't built a website or blog yet. But for anyone who has built a blog or website and wants to know how to get good, quality traffic to it -- perfect.

I've been around the block a few times (so to speak) when it comes to internet marketing, but almost every video gave me an eye-opener. Sure, quite a bit of the information is fairly well-known but there are tweaks here and there that take the methods one step beyond. And there were some techniques that were completely new to me.

And while there isn't an accompanying pdf to go with the videos, the most important points of the information in each video is listed right below the video, and you can easily copy and paste.

It's worth much, much more than the special price for us Warriors. Get it before it goes public.

(And yes, I'd love to be a beta tester when the time comes.)

    Gail
Note, the WSO is over and we're not able to offer the WSO pricing
    any longer.

If you have any questions, let me know.

    Thanks!

I just looked at the WSO thread. It hurts to miss opportunities snif.

OK so we won't get WSO price. As fellow War Room member, can we get to be beta testers for the softwares though ?

Ah, sorry. WSO's have gotten so crazy lately. I bumped it
several times and it was off the first page sometimes in just
a few hours. It's not like the old days - that for sure. It's
easy to miss WSO's that you would have jumped on. I've
        missed many myself.

As far as the software - we're already live, so the software
is out of beta, I'm sorry.

However, I can do this for you guys... You'll need to hurry
because we're getting ready to remove all of this free
        content (including videos). Go to:

        xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

(I didn't want to link it here)

You'll find several videos, a ton of content, as well as
a 2 hour audio I did - talking about some of the Traffic
        Siphon methods.

Come to think of it - I had posted the link above - but
instead I'm going to post it in the War Room right now
        to give back there.

The Traffic Siphon course does include a lot of written material.

In fact, for each video there's written materials explaining

We haven't leaked this information out to any of
our customers yet, but I'll let everyone know here
that we'll be uploading additional unadvertised
bonus videos over the next few days.

We also have a team member going through all
of the written material and creating PDF's along
with screenshots where/when needed to explain
    the methods in more detail.

So the Traffic Siphon course is growing by the
day... and we'll begin to upload some of the
new content on Thursday. All member levels
will have access to the new content for free.

Any questions guys, let me know.

    Thanks.

As I could use more Traffic and I got a bonus from buying through someone's affiliate link, I bought in.

I don't mind upsells that much, but come on, if I buy a 19 video course for Traffic, I don't want to be told I need to buy other stuff to know how to drive some! It's almost insulting. A software, an automation tool OK. But other traffic tips?

What, you don't like being told you have to buy this other product to learn how to do what the original product you bought was supposed to show you? What's wrong with you? How could you not like that?

I believe Shawn Casey had it on his email list for $7. I saw the email and it said it ended friday night at midnight I am sorry to say. But, you may opt in his list and search for it. There 2 names it goes under with the same info, traffic pump and traffic siphon I think. The same e-cover was used for both. I have the book, and it seems good for 7 bucks, but not sure I would spend 77 on it.

Thanks for the tip, huckexp; I followed your advice and bought it for $7 from Shawn Casey. Looks to be good value. So, if anyone is considering buying Traffic Siphon, you might want to check your emails from SC last week, because I don't know how much longer this price will be available.

And thanks to all who have responded to this thread.

        Guys

I may be wrong, but I think that you are confusing Google Traffic Pump with Traffic Siphon. Traffic Siphon has 19 videos (with PDF'S) showing some ingenious ways to get backlinks and increase traffic. I got it and it is seems to be something that will provide massive value long term.

Indeed! Those are two totally different products.

TrafficSiphon was $77 for 19 videos, PDF's, written
materials, and additional bonus videos that we
continue to add into the members area at no cost
          for folks.

The Google Traffic Pump is a $7 ebook and not
related to Traffic Siphon in any way.

Glad we got that fixed, sorry if I messed anybody up. The exact same tagline was used on both e-covers and you know what mother of all f*ups is?...Assumption! It looked to be a re-built or re-released info book. I am glad we have all the main people of these programs for members on this forum here. The 7 dollar ebook has good ideas and was not a waste by any means. I have used it and will be keeping it handy and not on the back burner.

Well, I benefitted from the confusion. I got the $7 Google Traffic Pump/Siphon by searching my Shawn Casey emails, based on the recommendation above. Then I went to the TrafficSiphon.com, and it appeared to not be the same product. I got Traffic Siphon, as well. I've only explored it a little bit so far, but it appears to be a good investment.

And although I'm pleased with my purchase of Google Traffic Pump, I apologize to JonPorter and anyone else who might have bought it, instead of Traffic Siphon, based on my recommendation. (I should have known that $7 price was too good to be true...)

I would also like to apologize to Texas Guns for misrepresenting your product. I'm going to head over to the actual Traffic Siphon site now.

Great question. However, the course is about getting backlinks
to your websites. It's not a method to make money on it's own
(well, actually it can be and there is a bonus video about that),
but it's a great way to increase traffic to your website. (SEO,
      direct traffic, etc.)

So if someone is selling a widget online, they get a ton more
backlinks, get found more in the SE's, then they'll make more
$$ if they have all the pieces together.

However, if you're just building traffic to your blog where you
talk about the growth of tomatoes in Maine during the summer
of 1984, and you do nothing to monetize your blog, then you'll
      make $0.00.

      Hope this helps!

Ivelin2008... Two totally different products. We own TrafficSiphon.com
and our product, "Traffic Siphon" which has over 30 videos on backlinking.
The other link you provided is an ebook with the title, "Traffic Siphon"
which has nothing to do with our product. The author of that ebook
either saw our name, liked it, and decided to make it the title of the
ebook. Or, it's just purely coincidence. Either way, the two are VERY
    different.

After reading all the way through this thread it sounds like this Mark guy and George bought this product and expanded on it? That would definitely go against what the sales page said that Mark found all these "loopholes" himself by experiment,

Anyways, I have gone through some of the videos and these "loopholes" aren't really loopholes. They are known sources for getting backlinks that have been talked about many times before. In fact, if you go look at some of the WSO's that are on sale right now, you will probably find several on them that deal with these "loopholes."

I'm completely done yet, but I have a feeling that I will be cancelling my $1 trial on this one.

Hey there, I would like you to answer my question.
Why the **** are you using the dumb "Only 250 copies go buy quick so I make more money faster" strategy? Is it really that hard to go into google and... google "traffic siphon review" and get like 100 pages of reviews? A super affiliate could probably sell 250 copies in a day, while I bet there are a "bit" more then 1 super-affiliate for this product. Why do you have to lie? When a sales letter lies in one thing that means that probably the rest is a lie aswell.
If Iam wrong - please tell me, but this seems like traditional guru sh*t just with a better-planned sale so that people will think that its really that awesome and there are only 250 copies - FAIL!

I can't believe I got send to this from Tim (IM Advantage - Blueprint guys). This looks like probably an OK product, nothing new if you've been in IM a while, but the sales page is full of crap!

The usual "The Gurus have been lying" angle, the fake story to "connect" with a lot of us, and the fake scarcity (urrgh, talk about one of the cheapest, most obvious tactic here).

Things like this really make me hate the IM world sometimes.

Like Dominium says: why do you have to lie?

        Hi Warriors

We too grabbed the $1 trial and got the same 78 copies left BS plus the only 5 people could get the $1 trial BS.

Why don't these guys STOP using the 250 or 350 Only Lie?????

Anyway, the content is ok from what we have seen but it's a rehash of the old version as far as we can see so far.

It looks to us that it is amonthly based on the info from Clickbank.

Anyway, part way through the videos so will keep rolling on it and see if it gives us anything to be comfortable paying the monthlies.

        regards

Yeah, I got it yesterday and was thinking that maybe this method would really be limited to the first few hundred customers. After all , George Brown is promoting, and since he has a rep to care about they will enforce a real limit. But I went back to the sale page today and nothing has change after 12hrs, same numbers..lol.. And the "secret methods" that Mr. Brown never heard of before..lol . Only if he suffers from extreme short term memory lost, can he really say this.
All of the methods in the courses have been around for ages.

If you are a complete newbie and/or you have been under a rock as far as Internet Marketing is concern, then I would recommend this course because it does give a basic blueprint on how to generate FREE traffic. If you have been doing IM for a fews months..You can find the info given in this course for free.

I feel P/Oed because I would never ever but my name and say things like "secrets methods I never heard" if it was not true. What is happening to the internet marketing industry when one launch after another is full of BS?

here's the basic layout of recent launches.

-Come up with a niche that have convert well in recent months
-Find a guru who has a huge list
-Ask him to give you a awesome testimonial in exchange for a piece of the action
-find yourself a top notch copywriter, who can spin bs and make it sound like home made cookies.
        - use the word "secret" in the copy,
-use false scarcity and say in your sale video that "..don't want everyone to know about this method"...and go as far as putting up the words "sold out" on the sales page. Oh, and don't forget to crossed out a couple of numbers to make it look like the course was closing down.
        - find a bunch of JVs who don't give a ##$$ about the crap they promote to their list and ask them to send pre written emails out to their list to create buzz
-give them big cash prizes for the most sales on launch day
-come up with upsell, a recurring monthly software package, hosting package ( yes, there was a hosting offer in there), some VIP section upsell ( I thought it should have been included in the basic course, again non-sense)
-and finally, laugh your way to the bank while planning for the next product launch

Ok. I think I got most of my frustrations out of my system. thanks for reading and sorry if there are errors in my writing.

PS. Don't forget to save the screen shot of the huge sells from the launch from CB, so that it can be posted on the next BS launch. ( I had to add this in )

I was promoting Traffic Siphon, got one of the early copies. It hurt my heart and bank account to finish my review.

I knew something was wrong after the first video(introduction), I was like is this PLR?

It's the first time I wrote a review and used the word "disappointed" in the review, but I had to be honest.

I'm not saying the content is bad, but the product is completely misrepresented and postioned as "cutting edge". It is far from cutting edge.

It seems like the marketing of IM products are becomming more and more unethical.

What's even more disappointing is marketers I respect promoting this hard. What ever happen to protecting your list?

If so, what do you think thus far? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
I have been checking out the prelaunch material and it does look interesting. It has been my experience with the creators both George Brown and Andrew X that their products are high quality and deliver the goods. I personally will be purchasing it and if time allows will come back here to this thread with a review.
Because of past products I would encourage anyone slightly interested to get this. I believe in these guys and who couldn't use more free traffic, right?

The traffic Siphon the George Brown is promoting with some underground clickbank super affiliate Mark Barnard just went live now.

I just bought it on a $1 trial for 5 days. If you click to leave the page you get the $1 offer. For this you get Traffic Siphon + limited free trial of Siphon X Underground cash series. I didnt get greeted with any upsells but the offer is automatically tied into future payments of $67!! I dont even know what the monthly payments are for yet, I assume the automated software?!

I cant tell you much else about whats on the inside as the link to the product itself is broken!! LOL! I have emailed support.

I bought this out of curiousity. I want to know if those secret loopholes really are 'secret loopholes' ! To be honest I think its just going to be another of those over hyped products of 2010. And the 250 copies only scarcity is likely a big lie as many internet gurus have been promoting the launch - sure to be sitting at no.1 on clickbank by the weekend.

If anyone is intersted in some feedback i'll post some more - once I get the correct link sent to me and get under the hood!

I also took the $1 trial for 5 days as I was just curious to see what it was all about. I figure I can cancel before being charged the $67.

I was hit with about 4 upsells. One was a special software that they plan on releasing in the next few months, another was landing page templates and then there were 1 or 2 more that I didn't even pay attention to.

My link to the product works fine. When I ordered it said there were only 78 copies left, so who knows? (I used the pre-launch link from George Brown so it hadn't even officially launced yet).

I plan going through the whole thing today and tomorrow as I don't want to have to pay the $67 if this isn't for me or is just a hype product.

More of the usual typical Internet marketing stealth upsells...
In the lengthy presentation with George and Mark Barnard there were some points covered of relevance with respect to the software sales and what you actually got
Q: George to Mark, " what does a person get?
A: Mark to George " Complete automation software.
Q: G to M " Are there any further investments?
A: M to G " No! He does mention membership but i could not see fro the demo that you would have to pay for a monthly membership of £31 and also there was an immediate upsell of $197 for the AUTOMATED soft ware, presumably to speed the process up.

Ha, ha I am glad i just sold my company and am not desperate for loot!
I feel sorry for the amount of people who have read this wrongly and perhaps could ill afford to get into more debt than they were expecting.

Have i missed something or, are is this observation correct?

bought it a short time ago, quick review, no pdf's, only about 5 video's, except for the introduction the videos don't play, instant traffic tool finds gov and edu sites but are all NO follow - looks worthless, seems to me that the basic product is "basic" and that all the "secrets" are in the upsells which I did not buy, looks like another refund candidate at this point!

I guess I'll have to wait a few days for them to fix their site so I can actually watch the videos!!

p.s. I emailed the support link with my issues, you get an email back telling you to file your message somewhere else, thats a cute way of reducing the support issues since I could not be bothered to do that

So the more I get into this product, the more it bothers me. I decided to click back on the sales page and it still says 78 copies are left, so they haven't sold any more copies in the past 2 or 3 hours since I ordered? There goes the whole scarcity tactic that they are really only selling 250 copies.

I have already canceled my subscription and glad I only paid the $1. It's not worth the $67. As I said, look in the WSO section and you can find the same stuff for about $7 and probably much more detailed. There is no way that Mark (if there really is a Mark) made all that money himself. He either has a heafty staff of people working for him or he spends a lot of money on outsourcing.

My recommendations is to stay far away from this product!

I cancelled through clickbank. If you look at your receipt through clickbank they give you a link to support and you can message them to cancel the subscription. Just be sure you do it at least 2 days before you have to pay because it can take that long for them to process it.

I'd like to provide a bit of enlightenment for everyone, however, it may make many very pissed. What has been done here with this launch is a bit unnerving, hopeful & joyous, disappointing and borderline unethical --all feelings at the same time. There are a lot of questions to ask, but I'll break it down like this.

Unnerving: Some people may already know, but this is the EXACT same product that was launched in January this year. Additionally, slight cop-off products were created to create PLR & Resell rights products based on the same name, particularly: Google Traffic Siphon ( a ton of people used this), and Get Traffic Siphon, PLR created by a well know info product created. Unnerving because, all that was done was a slap on some new graphics, no real evolution of the material.

Questions: How many people received the "Only 5 Spots Left" Trial? Even your "RECEIPT" says "only 5 spots left"
Can you say advertising fail? I have counted already 9 and growing who purchased the "Only 5 Spots Left" opportunity (you know what it was, I won't go into details on that.)

Hopeful & Joyous: This will most likely be a successful launch, with so many gurus promoting it given the commission schedule -as that's all they care about. But I say hopeful & joyous as I've already stated that this launched back in January by a group of 3 right here on the Warrior Forum, and it was deemed a successful "launch" then. This same product was also sold for $40,000 -the entire business. So it's a full circle exit strategy amongst the warriors who developed, launched & sold an online business.
It's was hopeful that the "new owners" would take it to the next level. New Graphics & a Favicon? I'm not sure that it has. But hopeful that revenues will be made, and hopefully people won't be disappointed as it "might" be knew to some. I predict a refund rate of 60% on this one. Why? Read further...

Disappointing: 250 Spots left and only 5 Trials. I counted 9 people already around this site that got the "only 5 trials" left. So many upsells & downsells that didn't offer anything different but a price switch. They talk about all these traffic sources, but never tell you how much time it actually takes. The guy Mark never really explains if he is doing the work, or if he has outsourcers doing the work.

    Borderline Unethical
: At what point will we DEMAND transparency. They should have stated in a reasonable way that this product was already out there, it was sold and purchased, who the specific relationships & partnerships are (they kind of did this on the "last upsell"). There are so many hands in the cookie jar on this, I don't know what to believe.
    Questions:
Why is there such a large difference in revenue with Marks accounts vs. the other CB accounts?
Were the revenues generated in 2009 based on the previous owners accounts or Marks?
Who's the actual owner of the product & site? Mark, George, Andrew X, Nitro Marketing?
Naming Conventions of the products that simply confuse people. What the hell is Siphon X Advanced Underground Cash Series? Is this the same as the automation software? Cause that's what people thought they purchased....oh well.
The picture of the car -- I don't believe the United States has license plates that look like that.

A lot more honesty & transparency would have gone a long way.
Overall, the setup is pretty clear, some nice videos, but this is old stuff from 9 months ago.

In regards to actual operations, I think it's lacking because if based on what we may think that MARK, as the product owner implements a specific operation, what is HIS specific methods, and what specific example can he point too? This is the conundrum.

Is Traffic Siphon actually $67, one time payment?
Once you add to cart it give you $67 first months payment, then underneath that it has $47 future payments billed monthly.
Reading through all the sales blurb,it only mentions the $67 price tag.I hope they don't under handedly take future payments.

Great threads, it certainly gives us a good idea of what Traffic Siphon is all about now.
I was pretty dis-appointed in the pre-launch secrecy to what the product is all about, it really didn't give away too much information at all.
George and Mark's interview was so fake, it really made me wonder about the product. I hate all the scarcity tactics and the Fast Cars, it really puts me off.
This is why I always read the Warrior Forum thread to see if the product is really something that I can use and I will now give Traffic Siphon a miss.

    Well... there are 3 $ 197 upsells...

The Traffic Siphon software that does everything "automatically" and is going to be released as a monthly subscription soon. Hmmmm. When you exit you are offered this same package for $ 97.

The next upsell is 20 ready made websites which appear to me to be review page sites for CB niche products. No down price on exit on this one.

The next upsell is for "Fort Knox" traffic system which appears to be a webinar series or something of the sort that covers multiple traffic sources and "secrets". On exit you are offered a shortened version of this course/video series and 3 of the ready to go websites from the prior upsell... for $ 67.

    So there you have it...

    a $ 197 upsell that down prices to $ 97
    Another $ 197 upsell
    Another $ 197 upsell
and a final $ 67 combo upsell that offers part of the second and third upsell offers.

Hope this helps anyone thinking about buying....

It's nice to know that there's always the CB refund policy. I expected this to be a good course but based on the comments here it sounds iffy... like it's mostly the same old, same old.

We are internet marketers, and Traffic Siphon is being marketed by top marketers to other marketers. Of course they try every trick in the book to make more sales, that's what marketing is all about isn't it? And of course they can expect reactions like these when marketing to such a crowd. But I think it's important to differentiate between the method a product is marketed and the product itself. Don't judge the marketing, judge the product

I believe they are targeting newbies and really don't give a hoot about experienced marketers. This is what I am getting from the sheer way they are presenting their marketing tactics and the quality of the product content.

You can bet you will soon be receiving another "greatest thing since slice bread" offer. After all it's only a matter of clicking the send button for them to generate lots of cash. Success came fast for some of these 'lucky' young marketers'. More power to them. My concern is will they ever consider giving us real value with actual substance in their offers? I would hope they would've learned from some of the masters.
        I understand there's a new breed brewing...different times I suppose.

Im getting really sick of Hyped up products. and if they were making a million online every few months why would they reveal their secrets and there method would get trashed and everyone would be using it.

As Somone said earlier Find a method that makes you money and stick to it

That's the whole point, is "FINDING" the methods that generate real revenue. But first we need facts. Facts based on:
      1. The operation
      2. The level of time & commitment
      3. An analysis of real expenses
Now, people, say well, if you are not willing to put in the time.....B.S.....anyone who wants to make money will put in the time. But how long do you have to spin your wheels? How much money will you have to lose before you make? There is a level of risk to be known, & uncovered. This is exactly why the FTC came out w/ these regulations, to get a handle on RISK to consumers. And still, we get the same BS from some people, who skate by on statements.

Marketers need a lesson in statistics, and start putting doing some sample size analysis on your customer base. Why aren't they getting results?

Another statement you stated: "George Brown wrote the system" ---
FALSE - Where ever that was stated, is not accurate at all. The system was already developed, videoed & created by someone else - most likely not even these new product owners.

The worst part about all of this, next month, they'll be pushing another launch, based on the sales number of this one. Stating our methods do $xxx, xxx, and that's what we did last month....NOT because of the content of the product, but because of the SALES of the last product.

There are some more comments in this other closed thread http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-think-so.html

As I said in that one the JV page shows almost $300 per sale possible and a $10,000 prize for affiliates - 250 copies only yeah right. They will probably make a fortune, but I honestly don't understand how they can sleep at night.

      Hi All,

I bought this product within 10 mins of launch. The unknown traffic generation hook from the corners of the internet got my attention.

Imagine my disappointment when the 'actual' methods consist of (but not limited to) ezine article marketing, forum profile creation and blog commenting.

      I KID YOU NOT.

I'm not jumping on a bandwagon of slating IM products. I've only ever posted negative comments about one other product for which I was banned from this forum. I'm therefore choosing my words carefully.

If you are very new to IM then this will probably be a good all round backlinking course, although every bit of the info is available for free elsewhere. If you have researched just 30 mins of backlinking, save your money.

I still have no idea what the subscription is for

And I still really really want to know what the 'devastatingly powerful free traffic loophole' ........ 'without ANY of the usual methods' is.

Actually, I've just had a final look before completing this post and I can confirm that there is not one backlinking method revealed that isn't widely used and available elsewhere on this forum.

      Conclusion: A huge disappointment.

Guys, it's always the same old story.
The only fairly recent "newish" thing in marketing is Facebook advertising as a cheaper alternative to Adwords and most of us can work out how to that for ourselves I'm sure....

Anything else that says it's "never been heard of" or a "loophole" is just yet another marketer trying to blow smoke up your *ss..

We all know the scarcity thing is total crap..
Every time I see a new launch I just head on over to Clickbank and check out the affiliate page.. That will tell you all you need to know...

Gurus promote ANYTHING - They don't care - Fact! Their lists are so big they KNOW newbies will be sucked in and buy time after time... When they send out this type of crap they lose a few (more experienced people) off their list but you've probably been replaced by some more newbies in a day or so... The commission made far outweighs losing a few people who probably weren't going to buy anyway.. HECK! - I'm on a few lists but NOT because I'm going to buy from these people..

The only thing that surprises me is that other people seem to be surprised by these facts.

If you can build websites then DO IT and get good focused content on it and then create backlinks (lots of ways of doing this) - Simple.

If you can't do the above then spend that money you keep lending to Clickbank on a course that will teach you how to (preferably one that doesn't try to deceive but just does the job of teaching you how to market online.

        cheers

Hey guys.. i also bought traffic siphon

Now: first you have to get through the 3 197$ upsells

second: without this automatic software upsell of 197$ , its nothing more then an advanced backlink course,(article,PR, twitter, forums, blog post etc etc)

interesting and we all know how important backlinks are , but these are tactics we already know about,

there is nothing undiscoverd about these tactics (not how they promote this)

I was a fan of george and bought this because of this dude but i will refund tonight

    Hi Guys

I received an email from, what I thought, was a well respected source and so checked it out right away, read a little of the sales page, listened to 3/4's of the intro video and then followed my instincts, searched for reviews and posts from the Warriors - which lead me to here.

This is probably the only time that I have ever read Every One of the posts and not only have you saved me money but also a lot of (potentially) wasted valuable time - thanks guys.

Not only that but your comments, insights and analysis of the product has been very enlightening, if somewhat disturbing as the thought of these so called Guru's taking us all for mugs isn't pleasant.

As as for the "well respected source", he's always preached trust and value for money - maybe this time he trusted only in his " $ bottom line"

    Your guys Rock.

I am ready to WEEP with frustration, and I haven't even got to the product yet.

First of all, the six zillion upsells! Argh.

Secondly, it isn't even forced continuity - it's sneaky continuity. The ONLY mention of it is the 'free month's trial' (of what, I don't know yet) and that was it, till I look at my receipt (suspecting this) and see the continuity there.

Contacted support to say, 'cancel that immediately'. Get an e-mail saying,

    "Hello,

Thank you for contacting Traffic Siphon Support.

To give you the best service possible,
please enter a support ticket here:
    http://www.TrafficologySupport.com

Our support team will respond to you promptly,
    normally within 1 business day."

What? I thought I HAD contacted support. So off I go and with a LOT of messing, manage to open a support request with - it turns out - Trafficology. They, to their credit, get back within minutes to tell me that they no longer support this (under the new ownership, I guess). So why was the autoresponder not changed.

And if it's an old product, how can this Mark guy have created it (usual rags to riches story blah blah).

And as others have stated, the 'only 250 copies to be sold' rubbish. I didn't believe it, but I still don't like to see it.

Against my normal practice I bought this before checking in here. But I did so because Tim of Blueprint fame recommended it as did Matt Carter, and I respect them both. Or should say, did.

I'll check out the product, but if it's just articles/profiles etc, I'll be getting a refund so fast you'll see the streak across the sky.

    Yours spittingly,

    Tracy

table { font-size: 10pt;}As internet gurus continue to dominate other people pockets without the people's realisation i think its high time google should rank warrior forum as an authority sites as far as clickbank product reviews are concerned, because believe me there are thousands of people out there typing on search engines for reviews of products like traffic siphon and what they get on the first page is an affiliate providing a video from Mark Barnard showing a classy clickbank earning, and a little explanation here and there only looking to get some few bucks.
Alright i know you might disagree with me about the idea of putting warrior forum as authority site for product reviews but is there a way we can get the word out to our fellow innocent buyers?because believe me Mark Barnard is going to release another system just like this tomorrow since he noticed how easy he can make money teaching old crappy bullsh*t.
I just bought the system for a $1 then was greeted with 5 f****g upsells.I just did not even cancel i requested for a refund, i would rather buy 99cents peanuts and watch smackdown than listen to the old crappy backlink songs, because I KNOW please! they are important.
Did you guys listen to Marks' voice during the call with George, yes! a slow smooth voice with an australian accent, you would definately conclude that was a millionaire talking. Then comes the launch date, all of a sudden some other pressurizing voice, now logging into Marks' account.oh! Lord!

now if you buy this product you are paying $77 monthly to learn about SEO.There are free ebooks that can teach you SEO, but not paying mothly, how dumb are you to lbe thought every month.or its the software? either way way its just dissapointing.

i think this guy should just take it easy in spain where he is vacating as i will stick to my old article marketing for now.

I have purchased Traffic Siphon Long Ago in January, when I was new in the Internet Marketing word and do not know much more methods on how to build backlinks. In that course they have shown me method which were new to me. And i have used it pretty successfully. I have also purchased the 47$ upsell there for Siphon X Monthly Training - Top 10 Free Traffic Tactics but I received only 2 month's training and they never shown other methods.... I discontinued after 3rd payment.

If the site's new launch is providing same old videos. I would recommend to have membership with Backlinks Forum for free, where you can learn lots of techniques easily from the top gurus who are successfully implemented it for their sites everyday.

Traffic Siphon is only for newbie who wanted to learn about new backlink methods, for other who are successfully doing it with software or techniques stay away from it.

      Hey Tymarkinc,

I completely agree with you, I signed up as a JV to Traffic Siphon, but after going through the content as well as being a moral and ethical person there was no way I could possibly promote it. I'm actually quite annoyed becuase I spent a fair bit of time building my site up but all i'm going to do now is flush it down the drain.

I thought the product was going to contain brand new cutting edge techniques (as the sales letter indicated) that would allow us to plug our sites into and siphon off some traffic. Umm, no, just the usual blog commenting, forum posting, article marketing, bla bla bla. I could go on forever and completely pull Traffic Siphon apart but I think you get the point.

To sum it up, don't waste your money, there's nothing new here.

I jumped in and purchased traffic siphon yesterday morning - 24 hours later I have refunded...

        Why???

There is some great info in there, just not particularly new information.
It is important to note that the basic level also includes a 30 day trial of siphonX which has a $52AUD monthly subscription continuity (yes you do agree to this at original purchase time)

The first video is on how to get traffic to your ezine articles - This was mentioned in a webinar I attended a couple of days ago and has had numberous WSO's devoted to the method.

The vids are quite well done. Very informative, there are PDF transcripts of the vids and also a cheat sheet step by step how to do it.

There is, from memory, about 16 videos in the first layer.

There are 2 upsells, of which I purchased both, one $197 USD to give you access to the software, which I didn't fully understand or use, and some more videos exposing super secret methods one of which was RSS.

The other upsell was to an exclusive mega information section originally about $400 (?) and then downscale to $67. I got the $67 version which included 3 sites done for you, and a package of 50 (?) newsletters supposedly the best of the best in IM.

How I felt during the process

I felt that I was trapped in a sales funnel and that if I didn't purchase the next level I would miss out on some vital part of the puzzle.

After I had put away my trusty credit card, I felt exhausted and cheated, a little like having bad sex

I spent yesterday going through some of the videos. Granted, maybe for a complete novice to IM and the backlinking process, it would be a good course.

I am still at a loss to see where all the traffic is being siphoned from at a click of a button with the all new methods being talked about.

Maybe I am being particularly blond today and have missed some vital point in the process

        Oh well...
        Cheers
        Kym

I just wanted to see the traffic software in a "VIP area"...well , same as the rest of the package , nothing new and if you compare it with a ScrapeBox it is a Baby !

It's basically same as a Free Comment Cahuna thing .... only you have to spend got pile of $ to get this one.

I didn't have nerves to go trough all videos but as I can see they do not get in to serious stuff at all.

          Daniel,

You couldn't be more wrong. It's posts like this that will have this thread locked very soon, so I'll give my opinion while I can.

There is a HUGE difference, I can't stress that word enough in this case, between "hyping" up your product, and it being a plain out "LIE"!

The claims in this offer are insane, such as "traffic methods that you have never heard of", and George even stating that he has never heard of these methods. Then you look at the product, and you know that you have been LIED to. It's not cool, and actually, illegal.

It has nothing to do with people chasing that "ever fleeting magic bullet fix", it's the fact that these marketers are promising, in this case, "unheard of traffic sources." If you are a smart marketer, then you should be willing to invest in this product because it will show you NEW traffic methods that you can add on top of the ones you currently use. The level of expertise one has, or status, is irrelevant.

That's my take on this situation, and I'm sure a lot of people agree.

          -Christian

There not...They are the furthest thing from it.

It's lies before you even buy the product. Only XXX available, and then bragging that you've sold 6,000 copies?

Unheard of strategies when most of them are in $7 WSO's?

Brand new product when it is a rebrand of a product that is what...a year or 2 old?

There is nothing wrong with being aggressive and going for the loot, but Jesus dude, stop hanging from these guys nuts or you are going to get crabs.

If people have to resort to doing crap like this to sell some information products, I am really considering whether or not they actually make a whole lot of money actually putting their own information and strategies to use.

In my life, I hope I am never hard up for some cash to try and pull **** like this to sell my products to the masses. While you are defending what they are doing, it is launches like this, the lies, and the deceptions that are going to force regulation into our industry on a scale that I don't think any of us want. Then we will have all of these millionaire ebook launchers to thank for it.

          Thanks guys (sarcasm)

To be clear, I am not an affiliate for this product, nor do I plan to be, so I have nothing to gain by defending it - and I never was defending it in the first place, just giving my observation based from a lot of the comments here.

"Traffic tactics you've never heard of before..."

What's wrong with saying that? I'm sure there are a good number of people who buy the course who will learn a good deal. Isn't that considered 'unheard of' tactics for that person?

There's no way a sales letter can somehow magically read your mind and know that you already know these techniques....And if you already know them, that is what the refund policy is for, no?

As for the 250 copies left thing, I don't really agree with that tactic but I don't think that should be the reason why someone should judge this product negatively...

I'm still going to stand by my statement and say that a lot of the people who bought into this were looking for that magic bullet that doesn't exist. The sales letter catered to that emotion, as do most of the successful sales letters out there. Is it wrong to do that?

I don't think so because I'm sure there are plenty of people who learned just one or two techniques to get them to their next income levels....That would certainly count as a magic bullet to that type of person, no?

              Dan,

Nothing is wrong with having a good sales letter...and the sales letter for this product was indeed pretty damn good.

I'm not saying that it's wrong to play on emotions, because let's face it, that is a HUGE part of sales whether you are selling ebooks or cars.

What I'm saying is, over the past couple of months the launches have gotten more "desperate" is the best word I can think of. I've never seen such a backlash, and flurry of blog posts go up trashing products, and their creators, and I think that a large part of that has to do with the dishonest and "sneaky" approach that is being used far too much here lately.

Ok, so I’ve read most of the reviews on this page and agree with most people’s opinion that this was definitely marketed to us in an unethical manner.

First of all, I’m glad that everyone who wants a refund will be able to get one quickly from Clickbank, but seriously, I have just one question for anyone who purchased it:

Did you only purchase this product out of sheer curiosity with the sole intention of returning it immediately after your suspicions were confirmed upon sign up?

I mean c’mon, we all have a BS meter built in, and certainly it was triggered when you watched that 45 minute garbage video they (George and Mark or whoever) put out.

There was not one valuable piece of content, not one little tiny nugget of info in that video.

First Red Flag - I was sent an email from a marketers list I was on, I won’t mention their names, to watch this video and you won’t believe how George gets this “Secret Affiliate to reveal all” in this “Content Packed, Nothing to Buy Video”………I’m serious, that’s what the email said.

Needless to say, I immediately removed myself from their list.

Second Red Flag - I also left a comment for George and Mark, nothing too bad, just saying that this video was supposed to have some valuable information and – where is it? They quickly removed my comment.

No need to look for anymore Red Flags after this one - When I saw the “limited to only 250 copies” nonsense and the price tag was only $67, Really, is there anything else to think about?

I mean even with continuity attached there was only some very simple math to do before realizing that this was a totally bogus, hyped up, dare I say…….Scam.

Why would a guy making $4000 a day, $120,000 a month, be trying to make a maximum of $16,750 from a product launch? (That’s not factoring in what he has to pay his affiliates)

Sure they attached a small continuity, $47 or so, but how many people will keep it?

You’re still talking about a relatively small amount of money, for someone used to making over 100k a month already. And now he’s going to reveal his secrets and share all this knowledge so that he can cut his paycheck down to a small fraction of what it was because everyone else is going to use his magical methods.

Bottom line here and the point I am trying to make is: I’m no genius, just someone who used a little deductive reasoning or common sense and didn’t buy this product.

I’m actually surprised that there are all these posts from people who did.

As a person who has purchased several high-ticket courses over the last year, I can honestly say that I feel that most of them HAVE been marketed honestly and ethically. I’m not sure which launches by the “Big Gurus” that some of the other commenters are referring to when they say that they used similar tactics to this Traffic Siphon.

I haven’t returned any of these products either as they have all delivered, or over-delivered, on their promises and content.
Like the rest of you, I’m all for Fair marketing, appealing to emotions, whatever. I just don’t like to be blatantly lied to like these guys did. I hope someone does follow up with the FTC and report these guys.

I hope I haven’t offended anyone with this post (If I have, I apologize), the last thing I’m trying to do is belittle or insult anyone, I just don’t understand, with all these red-flags, why anyone would actually purchase this product.

Please, If I’ve missed something, or if any of you feel I’m way off base here, let me have it. This post got much longer than I originally intended it to be, so sorry for the rant.

And Dan, sorry man, but your original comments are way out of line. Hype is one thing, but bold faced lies by marketers to other marketers shouldn’t be tolerated. Where’s the honor?
