Sales have picked up last couple of weeks !

INTERNET MARKETING

Had a lot of down time the last week in November and first week or so in December.

But the last 2 weeks has been gangbusters for me. (did have a lull on X-mas and X-mas Eve)

In past couple of years it has been slow around this time, but not this year.

Looking forward to 2015

I am also seeing huge drop in affiliate sales in this December. Traffic is same, so I am a little confuse what is happening.

Well i think it depends on the business you're in, if you see the traffic stats in the Wso section for instance then it hasn't really increased the past weeks.

But usually these times it's not bad for sales, definately better than sumertime.

This is my first year with an affiliate site and based on what I've read I was looking forward to a holiday surge. Through Dec 20th everything looked the same as always, no surge, but last week was very interesting. The number of visitors and number of products ordered was normal but people were ordering more expensive items, twice as expensive on average. Because of that I earned twice as much as usual. I'll take it!

I thought it was funny that I got commissions on $300 worth of email gift cards on Christmas day. Some people procrastinate on gift giving worse than I do.
