Detect the flaws in sales copy or video

Hey people;

Selling face to face is easy. By doing it 1000 times you can see where you're losing the prospect. You can then work on that specific step and master it.

But how do you do the same with a sales page?

    Split testing. Essentially using a bunch of different sales pitches or opening lines to that group of 1k....then you only use the best stuff on the next 1k.. Pretty much like you would offline.

    Split testing is a good way to identify the best way to sell something online. Just make sure when you run the tests you are only changing one thing at a time. That way you know specifically what changes are/are not working.

      Hey man;

      I understand the concept. I do it with opt in pages headings and it's easy to see what's effective whats not.
      But the sales video is 35 minutes. There are a lot of things to change. Structure, script, tonality (marketing voice) etc etc.

        There aren't even very many porn videos that can retain a visitor's interest for that long. How do you think your chances stack up?

        Is your video more appealing, does it do a better job of leading the visitor through the process from "titilating" headline to "climactic" call to action?

        Begin your split testing by creating a shorter sales video.

    ^ I think the same concept still applies. You could maybe try to make the video shorter than 35 minutes at first (as in, make another video), see what works best and keep on testing until you have your perfect sales video.
