How to make $48,000 in 5 weeks by taking action and following up

Here is a quick recap of what I did to make an extra $4,000 every month for the next 12 months.

For the past 2 months, I have been slowly building up my relationship with business owners who filled out a form stating they wanted to increase their online presence. They filled out these forms on one of my landing pages targeting business owners. At the beginning of August, I had 35 names and emails of business owners who filled out my form. Over the next month, I was able to close just two of them and bring in $4k per month for the next 12 months on top of the other businesses I have. This is just a recap on how I did it and how you can do the same thing or something similar with SEO services, Web Design, etc..

The first thing I did was set up 1 landing page (ended up trying out 2 others). I set up landing pages targeting business owners talking about how much money they are losing by not having their online presence more pronounced and offering a free short report about increasing their online presence. I ran traffic to it through Facebook ads that I spent a total of $17 for 47 leads, 12 of which were complete garbage.

I sent out emails to the 35 leads giving them a lot of value and tips they could take right away to increase their revenue through online advertising. I sent out a total of 5 emails (1 per week) before I got a response and multiple unsubscribes. The first response I got was actually someone saying my report was shit, which I know is total B.S.

The 6th email I sent out, I offered a free online marketing consultation to which I got 4 replies. I sent everyone that replied a typeform link where they had to fill out a questionnaire that asked 11 questions about their business, budget, goals, etc. I had a Skype meeting with all 4 business owners that lasted an hour each which resulted in 2 sales for $2k each for the next 12 months.

If I didn't follow up with them, I would not have made the sales. So I can attribute this success to my auto responder lol as well as offering them a free marketing consultation where I showed them some of the things I'm doing as well as some of the things I am doing for them. Total time spent roughly 8 hours including the 4 hours worth of calls. Obviously me and my team are going to spend a lot of time working with the clients every month and building their brand, which will take more time as well. But another thing that will happen from this is that we will be able to upsell them on other things they need that we can do that will give them a positive ROI.

I made this post so that hopefully people struggling can see there are multiple, multiple ways to make money on the internet. If you just take some kind of positive action consistently, things will work out in your favor.
