Sales Funnel - How Much Converting Into Sales?

I'm completely new in sales funnels and potentially looking to hire someone to create an affiliate sales funnel. After doing some digging I became curious and it brought me to a question... From your business what percentage of people opting in are converting into sales? I thought I'd ask to see real numbers

    Stop looking for validation and get on with testing your own funnel.

    Other people's results are not in any way connected to yours.

    Every funnel has its own traffic and conversion issues. Develop a baseline for yours and improve on it.

    Most of the sales come from people who have just opted in. Some may take longer to "convince" to buy and join. ( It can take 5-10 emails and some even take 6-12 months after they opted into your funnel to buy from you).

    It is really true that a lot of the people who will come into your sales funnel will NOT buy from you ever no matter how good your funnel is.

    IMPORTANT: The KEY is to really get new leads into the funnel every single day.

    How will this information change your current situation? Are you thinking about doing this, or are you going to do it?

    Those who come into my sales funnel for the 1st product convert at 4%. For my 1st backend product, 14%. For my 2nd backend product, 8%. And for my 3rd and 4th backend product, the conversion rate jumps dramatically. It's real high.

    For my monthly ebook consulting business..... about 1/2 of 1% of my customers.

      Yup, I was thinking about having a sales funnel created. I wasn't sure whether it generates more conversions down the line or if the purpose was only to have a list to market to. But this is interesting

        I guess we have to go back to the basics here.

        "To manage we must measure." This is an operations management maxim.

        If you don't have a funnel, what can you measure?

        If you can't measure, how can you know what's going on?

        And if you don't know what's going on, then what's happening to you seems RANDOM.

        Would you like to know when and where people do buy?

        Would you like to know when and where people DON'T buy? So you can make a change (that's called "managing")?

        If all you're doing is throwing unqualified traffic at a sales page and hoping something sticks, you are digging around in the most basic dirt of IM.

          I'm mostly looking to hire and for an affiliate funnel specifically. The person I spoke with said historically they've gotten 25%-35% optin rate and a 2%-5% sales conversion from that based on the businesses they worked with. Based on the lower end of the conversions he mentioned that would work very well for my magazine site which gets a lot of traffic. I simply wanted to see what kind of numbers others get for their funnel. 2%-5% is the ballpark I'm seeing. If it was lower I would be skeptical of the numbers provided by my contact.

    It could be 0 or 25% depends on the copy, the offer, the type of traffic etc... If it's your list and you give something exclusive with a fantastic offer the numbers are going to be higher then to cold traffic that doesn't know you.

    Very, very good question! The name of the game is to optimize. We can not just build it and have a perfect funnel. Starts with getting the opt in. I like to go for at least a 50 to 70% conversion rate and really aren't happy till I get that.

    I always provide the value first leading into a very low entry cost price. Say between 5 and $20 tops! This is where your question comes in! Again there is a huge optimization process for this. You can start as low as 2 or 4% maybe even less than 1% at times. Thats less than 100 subscribers that come through your funnel are going to buy.

    Thats very, very poor!

    When you are creating your own stuff and don't have 100,000 other affiliates promoting the same funnel with the same traffic sources I like to go for a 10% PLUS

    After I get that the next part beginnings

    go through this article Affiliate Marketing Is A Numbers Game | Readythemes.com in order to have a fair idea of how numbers game work in case of Affiliate Marketing...in my experience you can expect a typical conversion of 1% to 5% of the total number of CTR you receive...that means if you get 100 visitors to your site you can surely expect 1 to 5 users ending up buying your product only if it is qualitative enough...
