I would talk to my account manager about the details of the issue to find out why I wasn't paid.

There are many reasons an account may not be paid. You may have violated the ToS in some way. You may have sent bad traffic. Your campaign may not be compliant with the advertisers restrictions.

Your account manager can answer these questions. They can also help you with your campaigns by giving you suggestions and ideas- such as what kind of traffic converts well on an offer.

Make sure you log your communications with the company you're dealing with

You might need the log for an 'open letter' to the IM community later

In most cases, however, the issue is with the affiliate. Sorry to say.

After all, why would a RESPECTABLE program risk its brand for a measly $80?

Still, make sure you go through all channels of communication and document everything.

  • There's got to be an honest explanation to be given.

As somebody previously said, ask your account manager as many questions as possible & document everything!

Something must have happened, but you are owed an explanation ... and I mean a "complete" explanation.

Why would a reputable company risk its brand/reputation for only $80? Something doesn't add up here.

    That I'm doing

Me:I sent you a good and perfect traffic and he d'idnt pay me, I have a report!!

    advertiser:Hi
We have stopped the lead generation program for affiliates from last week. If you see we have changed the commission to 0(zero).
The earlier payout of $20 was for Free trial program and it was discontinued from last week. The definition of lead on Shareasale was changed to any lead and hence your leads donot qualify for the payout.
However, we are still paying 10% of commission for every sale by any affiliates.

Hope you keep promoting our courses to receive good commissions.

    Regards

Me:But before that was an ongoing advertising campaign was achieved by converting recordings Goo.gl report shows that the location of 323 people click on the link in the landing page (softichat.com) and has been transforming the $80 to my account in Shareasale and then was It deleted and Canceled Transaction from my account.
I hope you pay compensation on the matter even if 50 percent
    Regards image: http://img4.imagetitan*com/img.php?image=13_share*png (remove*)

    advertiser:Hi
The earlier definition of lead was a Free trial for our PM-AIO course for which we were paying $20. Right now a lead is anyone who enters his details on any of the course pages for which we don’t pay any commissions. The leads from your link happened during the transition from the first definition of the lead to the second. Hence it is not a free trial PM-AIO lead for us hence zero commission. If you see now our lead commission is zero for all leads generated.

me:But you pay me Already 80$ I see it in my account, tomorrow I d'ont see it because it
    VOIDED

    advertiser:Hi
Your leads donot count as the leads for which we were paying $20.
Continue referring traffic to us as we have increased the sale commission from 10% to 15%.

me: I read this in Affiliate programmes and agremment he say (Affiliate, agremment ) we pay 20$ for any lead, And it has already been calculated and payment me.

advertiser: Yes I already see our lead commission is zero for all leads generated but before that I see just this ( "20$" for lead ) ( "I d'ont remember" for sale), yes, I admit, and I agree it has been changed commission,
But I told with you in absentee and originally I was not aware that I value may change.

    He didn't reply after that

what about you ?? How do you see the issue ?? Is what I said, it seems logical ?

    *confused*

It is very clear from his response.

They stopped their 'free trial' lead generation program. They used to pay $20 for 'free trial' sign-ups but they stopped that promotion last week. Now sign-ups do not get a free trial and the advertiser does not pay for sign-ups.

You got sign-ups after they stopped the promotion so the people who signed up through your link did not get a free trial and you do not get any commission.

The $80 in your account was an error. Probably because your sign-ups came during the transition period, the payments were likely automated. Those payments are always subject to review so its not like they took $80 from you. They just cancelled the commissions in your account because the advertiser is no longer paying for leads.

It is unfortunate this happened but it is not an uncommon occurrence when doing lead generation.
