Affiliate Theme Recommendation

Hey guys,

I've successfully built and sold my first blog for $54K and now I'm ready to try and make my next deal and build up a new online business in this niche I found.

The problem is that I'm use to making all my money from Adsense and not affiliate commissions from CJ and Amazon.

Basically what I'm asking for is help picking out a theme that makes it easy for me to both content market and post affiliate offers and capture emails.

Any help or criticism welcomed.

    I don't see what the theme has go to do with the way you are monetizing your site? Just choose one that is nice looking and has good theme options and sidebar / footer areas to organize your content in a user friendly way.

    If you really sold a blog for 54k you sure should be well able to make a simple decision like that?

    There are hundreds of themes for affiliate websites. You can google for "affiliate theme" or "reviews theme" for example and you'll probably find the perfect theme to try to build what you have in mind.

    Genesis themes are amazing but if you prefer something different you can probably get in in theme forest.

    If you are promoting many products on your site, you want a theme that gives you a lot of options to manage the products:
    • categorizing products and creating individual product category pages
    • easily navigable menu structure
    • simple affiliate link integration
    • ability to display multiple product images
    • integration with Google product microdata
    You get the idea.

    You want to be able gather all the information on a product, log in, transfer product info, and post. If you have to edit, preview, edit, preview, etc. for each product, it becomes a headache quick.

    Any theme that you like. then just get plugins like instabuilder for squeeze and sales pages and something like easyazon for your amazon links

    I had very good luck with the Socrates theme.
    Built in sales pages, Header and footer image builder, a forum, adsense ready and you can use ads from other cpa and ppv programs.

    I tested this theme and it was the best theme for load speed.
