What's the difference between Joomla & Wordpress?

Hey,

I haven't heard much about Joomla except that it's a CMS. I use Wordpress for all my blogs and sites and don't plan on switching, just a curious george....

    Look Wordpress is fantastic, its becoming more and more like leading CMS platforms like joomla and drupal.

    Joomla and wordpress have their advantages and disadvantages.

    I create sites that are

    just wordpress
    just joomla
    combination of both

    Then I have some sites that are xsitepro

    It really depends what you want to do. Joomla learning curve is bigger than wordpress, i detail building sites step by step both in my book but... the nice part is you dont have tons of people using joomla like a spam fest in the search engines unlike wordpress and so Joomla has from my testing performed extremely well in the engines.

    Its heavy duty and can do anything you need, simple site, shopping site, blog, the works
