Get a google checkout account in the meantime, and setup a NEW paypal account using a new email address. That will solve your ability to get the money that you're willing to work for. BUT - you haven't given people ANY idea of what you have to offer, so you're not going to get a good responce unless you do show what your skills are. Hire you to do *what*?

BTW if I needed money (small sum) instantly, I'd go to Craigslist and collect every freebie item being given away that I thought I could sell for a small amount. There is a section for free stuff. Then have a garage sale and sell it all.

Only problem is....we don't have a vehicle, so no way to pick up stuff. I thought if it, trust me. And I need a way to get the money in my hand (meaning I can hand it to someone) tomorrow. With Pay*pal, that won't happen.

I really don't care what work people need done. We should be able to handle pretty much anything between the two of us. If you need anything, just ask, and if we can do it, then we'll let you know. I don't want to restrict our options to what I list, as I'm not very clear headed right now. I can't think past getting $250, and with no Pay*pal, it's hard to get anything done online....

Sam Stephens posted an article a few days about about some guy who makes 50k per year begging. It was meant as a joke, but if you are that hard up and in that tight of a bind, and need money tomorrow, you probably need to ask people for help. Strangers even. I HATE to recommend that, but if you need cash in had (legally) what else is there?

Ask for a small advance deposit to guarantee their spot for your services. Whether its one business with $250 down or 5 at $50 or even !0 at $25, if you have sales skills you have a shot at $250 tomorrow, then do the work for the clients, and bring in the rest. Rinse and repeat. Maybe easier said then done, but go out and beat the local pavement.

I've already thought of this but the only problem is most businesses will shy away from people with kids. Plus, my husband is in ill health, and we've got a newborn. So, although this is a solution, it's not the best one, and with my husband already being sick, I don't want to risk our newborn baby or our 3 other little ones getting sick. And we'd be on foot and probably be in the rain, so that's sure to happen. The weather isn't nice here right now and we DON'T have a vehicle. Otherwise, we would be doing that every day.

I'd ask someone, but I'm afraid, the only people to ask now would probably be complete strangers (like someone above suggested). I just took my stab at things here because I know how you guys have helped people to raise XXXX overnight and stuff. I only asked because I thought someone here would be able to help.

I'm going to try opening a new pay*pal account, but I don't know how much help that will be because the money still won't be in hand by tomorrow...

I think paypal and many merchant accounts are freaking out right now because of this recession and using their terms of service to hold people's money for 180 days. They closed down an account i had with them for years and are holding 12k of my money for 180 days. The reason - "they did a review" and thought that something suspicious was going on... I sell a golf ebook i wrote in the account and have for several years with no problem. So I think that it might not just be you that gets caught in trouble by paypal and others.

But enough about that, where are you located? maybe I can help find something...

Late last year I have a similar problem with Paypal (open in 2001 with world seller status) after eBay suspended my account due to breaching of sellers non-performance policies.

I was informed that my funds (almost $15k) will be blocked for 180 days. Surprising after 2 months they unblock the account and give notice to me to withdraw the fund before they terminate my account.

However I am allow to open a new account with a different email address, credit card and bank account.

I've thought about all the possibilities to try and get the money we need (by tomorrow), and everything is turning to a dead end. No loans from commercial lenders or family, nothing to sell or pawn (we don't even have a car right now), and day labor isn't even turning a dime.

Like I said, the internet has been our source of income for several months, but we've not been able to save up any extra. As the economy goes down, costs go up, which is no good.

I'm not asking any single warrior to give me a handout. I'm looking for some kind of work. I need to make at least $250 by tomorrow (I don't want to get into further detail, but things will turn ugly for us). I can't take any payments via Pay*pal because of the limited account status. So, I need some work that can be done and then paid via Western Union or some other way for me to get the money instantly. If anyone needs anything done, or can lend a helping hand (I prefer working), it would be appreciated.

Anyone, please, your help is appreciated. Thanks!

P.S. Again, I WANT work...anything, just ask.

Use a ccard.
If i dont come up with 300 dollars by monday i cant pay rent.I live in a small town of 3400 people and the mine shut down and most of the town is boarded up.
Maybe ill go camping in phoenix,its bigger.
Anyway,what im going to do is use my ccard blank checks.The ones they send in the mail,no interest for 1 year,ect..
Ill use that for the 300 dollars..
I just had 2 interviews this week so one will pop.they sounded promising.

Im also on a piece of public aid.Anyway,we have a program called [cara].
They will help you pay your bills.DES,also has a program called [TPEP].
It stands for [two parent employment program].with your young ones you will get a check every 2 weeks.If they have the program.Call the food stamp office.
They,DES,or any gov program will call your landlord,debtors,whom ever and let them know there is something being done.
Besides,no judge will kick you guys out on the street.I dont think.
In my county it takes 6 mos to kick renters out of a house with kids.Even when they dont pay there rent.

We've applied for public assistance and that takes 30 days to get an decision. At most, it can take 45. As far as the CC, not gonna happen. Bankruptcy canceled that a few years ago, which is why I said no commercial lenders. I won't get into the details, but if we don't come up with the money, we'll be out...

I'm trying to get some article writing orders, but that's hard to do without pay*pal. I'm trying to get a new account, but it's taking some time.

Yes,it will take 30 days but they will make a phone call an let your debtors,landlord,whomever that your are on the list to recieve possible benefits.That will give you another 30 days to sell your services for other things.
I was going to suggest a sighn buy the side of the road but i dont want to endanger you.
But it is a way to make some actually good money.We have people here in AZ that do it.Then the news catches them as they go back to there 150,000 dollar home.
They ask whats up and the sighn holder just shuts the door in there face.
There was a guy not to long ago,his sighn read(why lie,i need a beer.)
I saw at least 3 people wave him over to there car on the freeway off ramp.They called him over,and where giving him green paper.Couldnt see the numbers.
Make a sighn,find a well travelled spot with lots of traffic,sit quietly,carry a big stick.Your a woman,youll get money.

Do you have any biz cards left.Walk around and ask local buisness if they have a blog setup and are driving traffic to there brick and mortor store.
Then tell them for a small down payment,youll set them up a wordpress blog.
Youll go right inside there office,setup a hosting account with them.Install WP blog.Show them how to use it.
Tell them youll only charge them a small monthy fee to keep it on the first page of google.
Then charge them for the service you just did.
Tell them a lot of all small buisness have a blog on the web.

I've checked with them, and there's a waiting period before receiving anything. By the time that we receive anything from them, it would be too late. They bring you in for an interview and confirm that you need assistance, and then there's a 30 day lag till the time they actually provide the assistance. The churches are mostly able to help with food and things like that, other than general welfare assistance, other sources are pretty limited on the financial right now.

When you say that you can't go to the local businesses, is it not possible that somone could baby sit the children for you? If you have an internet connection, is it possible you make phone calls also?

My children aren't as young as yours, but if no one is able to help I take it that you haven't lived in the area very long to make close friends?

You live in america so you are lucky to be able to get unlimited voip calling packages at less than $20 a month that includes mobiles.

Go to the WSO section and wariors for hire section and pull out some good services for link building, writing and SEO.

In a day I can quite easily pitch 150 companies. Your not limited to your local town, target the cities also.

Most companies will pay a deposit upfront via cheque or bank transfer.

For instance pull the index out of the yellow pages and google every category that is advertising on PPC. Tell them you can increase their sales without increasing their advertising by improving the strength of their sales copy. Also tell them you can get them raked on the keyword they are advertising by building links to their site. Quote high and outsource the work onto guys here in the forum.

I'll be making phone calls just as soon as businesses start opening. I've done a quick search to find exactly what's in my vicinity, and most businesses won't be opening for another 3-4 hours. But, that gives me time to get some kind of plan in order as far as what I could sell to them. As far as babysitting, I don't know anyone in the area actually, and I wouldn't want to leave my kids with just anyone. And the baby, well, he's breastfed, so it's kind of hard to leave him with anyone.

Do you think it would be feasible to try and sell a package for $500 on the spot?

- Offer a website setup on a CMS (preferably Joomla)
- Add some content (don't have a camera for pictures but maybe could make enough money to buy one)
- Provide domain/hosting (after making enough money to buy a domain/hosting reseller account)

Is that enough to sell for that price? There are people in this area (I've seen on CL) advertising this stuff for $50, so would that be too pricey? They are tacking on the backend products, but right now, I'm just concerned with the money upfront. Also, I don't have any sample sites to show or anything...isn't that a problem for most business owners?

Also, I know that I'm not limited to just my area, but I AM limited due to transportation. I have NO vehicle, so I can't go very far. That's my biggest dilemma to pushing the offline business. And won't the companies require me to visit their office to pick up the money? That would be very hard to do considering, so maybe there's a way to collect the payment online somehow (no website right now, though)?

Yes $500 can be easy depending how you pitch it.

One idea that is pretty good it to get the business directory out and search for every company name in it. When you find a company that doesn't appear for its own company name give them a call and guarantee them that you can get them onto that keyord. Chances are they might also need a website.

Guaranee that you will increase their rankings and traffic. Tell them that if they don't get 1000 targetted visitors extra in 3 months through your methods then you will give them a full refund. That is just 50c per potential buyer. And 1000 hits is easy to generate, just make sure you get enough cash up front to cover article writing and possible senuke outsourcing. If thy don't have a tracking system on website charge them to set that up also.

It is much easier to sell some sort of advertising/seo on the spot than it is a new website. Let people know that its 50% discounted price as a "end of month special".

Also, for anyone else who might be wondering...NO, I'm not some Nigerian scammer. I'm in Georgia, USA...particularly a city called Jonesboro. The zip code here is 30236...look it up if you will. I'm not trying to scam anyone out of anything. I don't even want a handout. Yes, I'm asking for help, but I will work for it. So, please don't think that of me at all.

Considering that I'm sure people were wondering that, I figured I would just put it out there for you to see so you don't have to ask. I understand that people are out there who want to help but are also fearful of scams. Well, I'm really needing some help here. My family needs help.

Right now, we've got about $8 to our name...yes, we are clean out of resources. We've been through a lot of turmoil with finances, and pay*pal hasn't been the friendliest either. We've lost money with them (you know those buyers who weren't really buyers to begin with, we've had our share). I'm just really stressed out and nothing I'm trying thus far has worked.

I'm willing to risk $10 via PayPal if there is a trusted warrior on here who will accept the money through PayPal and then arrange to wire the money to this lady.

Ok, I realise that we may never see the $10 again ( no offense ), but what the hell $10 isn't going to break most of us.

If we can organise this between us, lets try to do it, and put it down to experience.

Hey guys, I really appreciate what you are doing for me. You've brought a smile back to my face. If everyone that donates some money would send me a pm or post here with what they would like for me to do in order to pay them back, it would be outstanding.

Just an update: I haven't gotten any leads just yet on the businesses, but that's not to say I won't. I think I've come up with a pretty solid package to offer to local businesses, and a few features to add on for backend sales. I'm going to try and do some posting on CL, too, and see if that will grab a few leads for me.

Okay....I've decided I will do $250 for 10 quality articles so she has $270 now.

After PayPal fees should be over $250.

The final step is a reliable warrior with PayPal is needed who is based in the USA who can receive the money by PayPal then get it to her.

Make sure you get call rate high and give them a reason to buy today. You may not make a sale on first day but if you get this right then it could support you from now on.

Now...who is organizing the transfer , she is telling me that there is a western union 1/2 hour from her place...

I think western union would make more sense for the sake of speed...should we send it separately or pool the money first?

right...I am going to start PM'ing any Americans who participated on this thread.

Just to make it clear...here is the plan so far...if you have a better plan let us know..If you can help us execute the plan then welcome on board.

1) some Warrior have pledged money to jazmi00 in exchange for some work
2 ) western union is the quickest and nearest for her to get the money
3) some of the Warrior are in the UK and can't send the money via the net via Western Union
4) we need someone in the states to come forward with the ability to use WU
5) the ones who have pledged the money paypal that individual
6) the volunteer from the States transfer that money via WU to Jasmi00

addendum: there will be some charge incurred by the volunteer in the States.If you can not shoulder those charges, let me know and I will.

This is not the most brilliant plan...but that what we got right now.

If you have read any further, you will see that I have taken the advice given. I'm actually cold calling to businesses in the area to get over any barriers that might have been presented. I'm also doing some Craigslist posting. Believe me, I'm doing what I can...and I've taken in all the advice given to me. And at 2 and 3 am in the morning, there's not a whole lot that one can do. You're right. I didn't read the entire thread. After the 3rd or 4th "I've thought of that and it won't work" I kinda stopped reading because I saw a pattern developing.

If any of her friends or relatives in her community (or a pastor, priest, rabbi, etc.) has an email account, the money can be sent to them via PayPal.

True, but I thought the point was that PayPal would create a delay, as she needs the cash by tomorrow (or it that today now). So, is the plan to have someone receive the money via PayPal, then use WesternUnion to transfer cash to a Western Union office so the money can be picked up? I don't believe WU will accept PayPal.

I guess my post didn't make it. I've only got a couple of people that could accept the transfer (they're in a different state), but they do have Paypal. They aren't reachable at the current moment though and I'm not sure as to when I will be able to get in contact with them. I don't know anyone in the area that could accept the money (I don't know anyone in the area actually, at least not more so than having seen their face a few times because they work at the local grocery store or something like that).

The only other thing I know that works like WU is Money Gram, but I don't know if that would work for any of you guys in the UK either. The pick up spots are right beside each other (big check cashing place), but I don't know if anyone is able to do that. You've got to do a debit/credit card to send it from online though. I apologize for not being much help...

That may work. Couldn't do that in the UK as the banks would need 3 to 7 days to allow the cheque to clear. Still, we need someone in the US to help us do this. It's seems pretty low risk, it's down to whether jazmi00 can rely upon someone in the community to help her. Otherwise, someone of the Forum willing to accept the paypal and do the Western Union bit.

There is no Money Gram agent in Swindon...although there are plenty in London
