If you're new to Internet marketing, there are great resources online to help you learn more about Internet marketing.

Hubspot: This is one of the best sites for inbound marketing, which is what the best Internet marketing is all about.

Social Media Examiner: Social Media Examiner has become a great resource for online marketers. This online publication is ranked as one of the top 10 business blogs and has over 600,000 visitors each month.

Social Media Today: It is a great site with various authors contributing good content daily.

Copyblogger: Copyblogger focuses on the most prominent thing that you can do to grow your website and attract visitors: provide quality content online.

ProBlogger: The focus of this blog is to help bloggers increase income streams, but even if that's not your goal, this is a great resource for learning more about blogging.

    3 of the best:
    • Warrior Forum.
    • Youtube.
    • Google.
The trick, though, is knowing what to search for and which questions (on Warrior Forum) to ask.

    My advice . . .

If you're new to online marketing, start simple. And let me tell you something: simple doesn't mean lame. A simple business model can often become your most profitable.

Take a simple squeeze page, for instance. Many marketers stick to that model and have done so for decades. Of course, even a squeeze page model can be enhanced to a complex level, but that doesn't need to be the case, not when you're starting out.
    1. Figure out a niche you like.
    2. Ensure you can write with authority about it.
    3. Figure out what your audience wants.
    4. Work out how to give them those things.
    5. Package up those solutions in eBooks and videos.
    6. Monetize them with affiliate offers.
    7. Plonk 'em behind your squeeze page.
    8. Figure out 1 traffic method. A free one.
    9. Master that traffic method.
    10. Drive traffic.
That's a nice little straight-forward model to get you started.

Use my 3 resources above to learn enough to setup that model, and when you start driving traffic, monitor everything. Work out how to optimize 3 things: how to send more targeted traffic, how to better convert it to subscribers, how to better improve your EPCs (earnings per click) on your affiliate offers.

Master that 1 traffic method. Once you've done that, move along to a second method. But still stick to a free method. And when you have that business nicely ticking over and bringing home the bacon, at that point you want to consider paid traffic. Same as before, learn 1 paid traffic method. Master it. Learn another. And if you repeat this process for paid and free traffic methods, you'll be growing your business and your knowledge at the same time.

The kicker? None of this will break the bank. But it may grow the money in your bank.
