Outsourcing vs coaching/mentoring programs. Which is better?

So, I see a lot of posts in various sections of this forum with internet marketers advertising that they will do everything for you: research the market, product creation, traffic generation/marketing, etc...

I also see posts advertising various coaching/mentoring programs.

So, my questions are:

(1) Assuming he has the money to pay for either/or, do you recommend a newbie: (a) outsource everything to someone who will research his niche, create the product, the squeeze page, write the ad copy and do the marketing (pretty much "do everything"), or (b) join a coaching/mentoring /membership program where the coach will walk you through everything, explain everything to you and you pretty much do most (if not all) of it yourself?

(2) For those of you who experienced both, which did you have more success with?

Thanks.

I think the mentoring is better. This will allow you to pay for the service once and then you can perform tasks later when you learn the skills.

Of you outsource...you will have to pay for the service over and over again.

    Hi,

Personally, I would pick coaching as it would also help you develop your own skills and knowledge.

    I would do neither.

Just learn and do yourself. Of course, there will be times when outsourcing parts of your business will make financial sense. But I would ever pay for a "coach" or "mentor" in the beginning. There is so much free and inexpensive information available the money you would spend on a coach would be better spent elsewhere.

Which is better, a Chevrolet or an egg plant?

They're both pretty good but serve totally different purposes.
