Can anybody explain why i`m getting such different search results from micro N F & Google A K ???

Hi guys,
Can anybody pls explain to me why i`m getting such different number of searches on a keyword when compairing the keyword on Micro niche finder and then on Google adwords keyword tool.

The keyword is... display humidor

If i type in `display humidor` into google adwords keyword tool i get way more golbal searches then when i type the same keyword into Micro niche finder.

Can somebody pls check this for me and let me know but i am thinking maybe its something to do with the fact i`ve got google set to all countrys all territtories and i`ve signed up to micro niche finder from the UK so is it set to show only UK searches ??

If so anybody know how to change Micro niche finder to all countrys like you can change google adwords keyword tool to show

Hello,

No the MNF is set with google.com, you will nedd to change it to UK yourself. Do you know how to do this?

yes i can see how to do this but i dont want to i want default Google !!

So why is there such a hugh differance in searches per month from the two ?? google A K shows..4.400 monthly search

And micro niche finder shows..480 !!!!!!!!!!!!

Anybody explain PLS

Yeah i just clicked too, I was using broad in google A K !

Should i always use `exact` in google ?? What is the benifit in using `broad` ??

I always use exact, it gives you a more realistic measure of the amount of traffic for that keyword.

Have you got the adwords keyword tool, set with Exact [ ] search results?

Ok,

I searched "display humidor" in MNF and the exact results were:

Local - 480
Global - 390

In the adwords tool, set with all countries and territories[Exact]

Local - 590
Global - 480

In the adwords tool, set with UK [Exact]

Local - not enough data
Global - 390

So from that I conclude MNF is bringing back, the global search amount for all countries and territories in the Adwords Tool, as the Local search amount in MNF

And then returning the Global search amount for UK, as the Global amount in MNF.

This does seem strange to me???

Maybe this needs to be sent to their support, what you think?
