I'm a lot better than I used to be back in my techie days, I used to run 4 PC's on one desk, 2 on another and 2 servers in the cupboard under my stairs.

Now I just use an ASUS G2S gaming laptop as a desktop replacement, a Dell Inspiron 6400 when I'm out in the garden or on the balcony and an ASUS EEE PC 701 whenever I'm out and about.

I'm actually ditching the Inspiron when I visit the UK for Christmas as my mothers laptop recently died, I am going to replace it with an ASUS EEE PC 1000, which replace my old 701 ultra-portable and my portable.

One Vista desktop and a notebook. To be clear, my notebook is a
clipboard holding a pad that I write on, ok? Does it ever work well
traveling. No security problems, never needs to be plugged in, much
lighter than your notebook and it has never needed an update.

1 - Desktop w/quad 19" Flat Panels
1 - Desktop w/single 22" wide screen flat panel
1 - Acer 20" Desktop replacement notbook (it rocks and I dont lose ANY speed when I have to travel!)

All 3 are arranged in a "U" shape in my office. I could probably launch a space shuttle.

I also have a small 10" notebook for light travel and my wife has a 14" notebook. You know your house is either high tech or you are lazy when you IM your wife from upstairs that you are hungry and want some lunch.

Is anybody else in love with their computers? I just realized that my 'puters are the first thing I go to in the morning and the last thing I say goodnight to. I worry about them when the weather is bad and I'm not home to pull their plugs to keep them safe. I wax poetic about them to friends...and miss my quad-core when I'm away from home for too long. Sheesh, I'm thinking maybe I need to get out more
