Hey Warriors.

Do you have any advice for offering People the rights to resell a Website/Product(s).

If not, I'll go back to searching Google and Amazon.com. Ideally, I'm looking for a Guide/eBook, however any advice would be great.

Cheers.: )

Might want to use specificity in general so people would be able to understand what you're offering them with your websites / products and questions.

Thanks: It's basically a collection of health and well-being eBooks I bought the rights to.

I invested in The Master Resell Rights to 12 - 14 eBooks (And have designed the Sales Page.) I'm looking for information/advice/etc. on how to sell all that (the resell rights) to other People so then can profit from it themselves.

You bought Master rights. You want to offer resale rights. OK? Why did you buy those particular products? What was on YOUR mind, what were you thinking when you bought them?

What markets, or actually niches within the very big and general health/fitness markets did you plan to sell to? Who is selling to them already?

If you take a step back, and look at what you are trying to do, you've created a sort of one man pyramid scheme.

You bought rights, to sell to others, so they can sell to others. At some point, someone has to buy and use the damn soap. Or it is just another Ponzi scheme.

Who is the end user, the person most likely to BUY and want to use these products? Who is selling to them already, are they on a list somewhere? The owners of the lists, those with customers already buying this sort of product would be your primary targets to offer the resale rights to, wouldn't they?

How does this fit into your overall plan for your IM business?

Go back to the reason you spent the money to buy the rights in the first place, and there you will see and find your market. How did you come across these rights?

How will the people who buy from you, FIND you? How are you planning to market these products to them?

Trying to help here, but you don't make it easy to do that, ya know?

Hi Gordon. It's just some eBooks that I thought looked interesting/valuable. Here are the titles:

          A Healthier You
          The Benefits Of Green Tea
          Top 7 Fat Loss Myths
          Staying Young
          Weight Lost Kickstart
          The Bensefits Of Raw Foods
          Eating Your Way To Success
          The Mediterraneon Diet Meltdown
Losing To Win The 7 Week Slim Down
Detoxify Your Body In 10 Days
          Bolster Your Immune System
          Losing To Win
          Fitness And Wellness For You
Note: It's not the best information on the Planet however I'm only charging $2 per eBook which I think is a great deal. I've also created a 30-page "Fast Start Guide" that is basically of all the most valuable knowledge and information. It's definitely not a "Ponzi Scheme" etc.

The Website is called "Your Healthy Knowledge" so I'm looking for People who are interested in their general Health and Being. Yes it's a broad Market however I think it will still be possible to sell them ― especially considering the (unique) Sales Page I have created.

See J 2.0, you are CHARGING for what YOU think, what YOU like, what YOU want to get. And the competition??? Every major medical university, the US Gov't with free publications on most of those subjects,

healtheknowledge.ORG an organization which provides FREE info, healthknowledge, health.gov, in other words you want to ENTER an established market place and you WANT to charge a paltry 2 dollars to people, because YOU think it is worth it???

The Ponzi reference, as I'm sure you know, was to your wanting to sell these resell rights to other people.

What market, or niche research have you done that tells you people (customers) will want to pay, even the tiny little two bux, for your generic stuff?

            See the problem?

If you do let me know so I can acquire the resale rights and duplicate the business model.

In reality you can make money doing this, I actually had several PLR membership sites. However, I had a large list of customers which was acquired through strategic marketing efforts and investing big money in advertising. Doing this starting from ground zero makes little sense. Literally anyone can duplicate this model, there's literally no barrier to entry. Sounds like you made a purchase without thinking it through on how you'll actually use it. LOTS of ideas sound good on paper until you go out and try it. Fantasy vs reality.

Do keep us posted on your actual progress. I'll LOVE to be wrong but seen this scenario far too many times.

On all of the products I have purchased with Resell Rights it is listed either on the website's Terms Page or on the sales page in perhaps a FAQ section.

This might not be overly helpful but anther term you might use to help your search is "licencing" I think you are technically licencing the products to a licencee

I would look at the terms from the seller. Every PLR product that I have looked at does not allow you to sell the resell rights of the product. If someone wants the resell rights they need to purchase from original seller.

Some might say that they see it all the time, and this is true, but it is probably against the TOS of the product.

Actually it does not. I have never seen a PLR product that allows you to sell the resell rights. It would make no sense for the product creator to do that.

See Kinney's example above: That's basically what the eBooks terms say. So yes -- I can sell the resell rights to them.

          P.S.

Typically, a product sold with master resells rights will include terms of use. This a
a very important piece of the master resell rights puzzle, so make sure that you know
what the terms of use entail.

    Here is an example:
    Master Resale Rights License Includes:

[YES] Can resell unlimited copies of the product for any price.
[YES] Can bundle in with other products.
[YES] Can pass along resell rights to customers.
[YES] Can pass along master resell rights to customers.
[YES] Can include in a paid membership site

[NO] Can include in a free membership site
[NO] Cannot sell the software on eBay or any other online auction sites.
[NO] Cannot give the software away for FREE

The terms of use are fairly simple and straight forward.

-If you do not understand the terms of use put forth by a seller, make are sure to ask for clarification.

    - It is important that you know what you can do with the product and what you can allow you, customers, to do with the product to prevent any future problems that might arise along the way.

if the products and techniques are common, it's you a large number of people will sell the same product.

    You have to check out
the competition, which can determine the success of your resale
article. Although you get a lot of visitors, the buyer will only buy if he is
assured of your uniqueness in the resale of the item.

How to Profit From Resell Rights Products

-Use it as a bonus for your own product
offer the resell rights as a "bonus" for purchasing the
service or product. This helps you to stand out from the millions of internet-based
business and will increase your sales

-One of the best ways to profit from resell rights products is to package or bundle
several products of the same topic together

    Jonathon,

Master Resell Rights (MRR) and Resell Rights (RR) can be different between sellers and the Rights can change after your purchase and that is usually found in the Terms of Service (TOS). so it is best to double-check each seller's TOS in the event there were changes.

Tips = Make and save dated screen prints. Also, the TOS may have additional details and the ownership of the original works may have changed to include the Rights. Another tip = there are programs that will inform you via email if and when any content changes on web pages.

However I wish you Guys would stop doing that. I'm a good, honest, ethical Person ... And I'm not doing anything wrong from buying the Resell Rights to my eBooks. (I've read all the terms and conditions and I'm free to sell them as I wish.)

You can sell them just like any other regular product via paid/free method. The technique for selling all digital products are same for all more or less. Just the label PLR is not going to change anything. The universal marketing premise is this, " find the people who has a problem match your product to help them solve it"! This will forever hold true.

Avoid being all round, like trying to cover every product. Rather, be specific, and grow in a particular niche. If you resell every product that comes your way, you might as well end up not making a name in e-commerce(lesser sales).

Quality PLR is difficult to come by. However, this can still be useful if you get creative such as:

Bundling the products and offering it as a bonus to your main product
Using it as an incentive for subscribers to join your newsletter
Selling it directly to your list IF it's quality and your list is responsive

Jonathan, you're looking to appeal to two different sets of buyers - the health-conscious and the health-business entrepreneurs. There may be some slight crossover, but you're likely to see your efforts fall down the crack in the middle.

Either concentrate on the health benefits of the products or the business benefits of the resale opportunity. Each would require a separate promotion strategy.

Yeah I was thinking of doing that as well. (I just kind of rationalized I could reach my income goal faster by selling the Rights.)

          P.S.
I may have got that wrong: I thought you meant selling the eBooks myself. (For $2 each.) Personally I think their "Fast Start Guide" is worth more than all that itself however I like creating and providing great value.

I meant selling the eBooks. But I'm not sure what the "fast start guide" is. First you said you created it, then you refer to it as "their" guide. Anyway, if the guide relates to reselling the eBooks, it would be aimed at a different market, as I said above.

Just on a separate point, and I'm probably taking the thread along an unintended path, but I wouldn't expect too many eBook sales via a general health site, unless it already had massive traffic. Most people have a passing interest in health matters but few are willing to pay for information (even $2) unless it was solving a problem they (or others close to them) were suffering from.

If the quality of the content is good enough (and not already available across several other outlets), I'd consider separating each title (or at least packaging those closely related) and using them as lead magnets for a dedicated newsletter subscription model. That's much more likely to result in a return on your investment, IMO.
