Traffic services, do they work?

I've seen a few websites that offer a certain number of page views for a given rate, or guarantee a top 10 listing for a keyword for a set rate.

Anyone have experience in using these services, I have several examples but I don't want to appear as spamming a particular service.

Some websites claim scam, some reviews are good. I can't tell what is legit.

Anyone know of a real service that drives traffic for a flat rate? I know PPC as a method but I don't have the capital to properly develop a winning campaign.

    Hi Money Bomb,

I believe most of these traffic services are from traffic swaps. However, there are some reputable ones. It should be ok to let us know what sites your looking at so people can comment if they had good experiences with them.

As far as ranking services, you have to make sure it's not PPC. Overall, if you are able to do your SEO, that would be the preferred method, or at least have them tell you exactly what they will be doing. You don't want to have them spamming your sites around.

Traffic bug works very well, it builds links and traffic through increasing your search engine position for your chosen keywords. It does require a small amount of work on your part but it certainly works. Currently costs around $19 a month I think.

You can try asking them the guarantee work for a keyword "within a period".

They may guarantee you top 10, but they might not told you when... I like long tail keywords for ranking, and I know roughly when my keywords would rank!

If they guaranteed top 10 ranking, go for 2 words or less keywords, and ask them to deliver in 2 weeks

I haven't decided what property I want to push traffic to, but I have a TLD that randomly redirects to some CPA offers in a niche. I was looking at the first link where their service guarantees a top 10 listing in a specific keyword for about 10 per month.

They also guarantee 1k visitors to a url for the same price, but no redirects are allowed. I read a thread here that had mentioned the second link as part of a method and I was going to see if using a goarticles posting would work. If it did, it is simply an economy of scale at that point.

If this traffic miracle worked, why would they sell it instead of using it themselves? This is where I got suspicious of how legit these services are.

You might try pay per view (ppv) traffic. I have been getting some real registrations and sales using this type of targetted keyword traffic and it costs about 2 cents per view. I am targetting through keywords and country. Not all campaigns made money but all got real subscribers and registrations so I know real people are seeing my sites.

      Hey,

I would just be sure to track and see where the traffic is coming. I once tried to outsource some traffic for a particular niche and when I checked in to see where it was coming from it was from sources not even related to what I was selling. Needless to say, it was a complete waste of money and I got screwed.

Just be smart about who company/individual you hire to do it and track it to make sure they are being honest.
