I need to take a service page off my site and move it somewhere else, how do I mitigate SEO issues?

For regulatory reasons, I need to remove a service from my website and place it on its own separate site. The page currently ranks well on Google and gets a decent amount of traffic. On this new site, we obviously won't have the domain authority that our older site has (due to blogs and other links), what are some tips that can be applied to this new site in order to mitigate long-term loss in traffic and ultimately sales?

Let me know any further questions if required.

Thanks,
Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan,
The maintenance of high traffic on the new site may require your full effort. As the previous site is enjoying a good number of visitors (due to blogs and other links), can't you do the same for this newly made website so it can rank well on Google and catch the same high traffic as the previous one? Other things may include engaging content, design, layout, user friendly, etc.

    Wish you all the success.
    Thanks
