How to attribute sales to digital marketing activities?

Hi there, selling product in Europe and running PPC campaigns. As all the products are being sold by partners (retailers, Amazon, etc.) on their e-shops or physical stores, I am not able to attribute sales to the digital marketing activities.

Could you please help me with these questions:

• What attribution method would you recommend?
• What additional tools would be useful to measure the impact of digital marketing activities?

Thank you!

    Are you saying that:

You are paying for ads, people click on your ads and land on your partner's websites?

  • If you're running ads to the stores. You should check your ad campaign dashboard.

You will see all the analysis of clicks you're getting.

For the sales... I'm sure the store should give you analysis on that also.

Just check your Statistics Aspects You don't need any tool for that.

This, to me, implies that you are selling wholesale or dropshipping. So why would you really care if they continue to buy from you.

But if you really want to know, why not just ask them

Digital marketing involves both organic and paid marketing functions. We can earn quick returns through the ads but that is not a goal for the marketers. Mistakes are happening due to lack of application and indicators of digital marketing are not enough to improve sales.

The short answer in your scenario is you will never be able to track those efforts. YOU are BRANDING and not advertising. Lets use Coca Cola as an example.. known the world over... Is their "advertsing" efforts saying go to X and buy coke.. or it simply saying buy coke? Coca Cola does not advertise, they create BRAND awareness.
