is it this easy?

Guys, just wanted to check I haven't missed a step in my model to make money.

Research a keyword on a how to topic.
make sure people are paying for it

Create a product with a unique approach to the rest of the market

Build a sales page to the product
grab the buyers email address as part of the process.

Send traffic to it from:
articles on why they need a how to
Back links
social networks
Chase the question for the how to in forums and yahoo answers.

If repeat purchases from the same person offer them a bigger more expensive product.

Just wondered if it was this easy? LOTS OF HARD WORK but the process when you know how is easy.

not doing this business model yet but about to so wanted fellow warriors advice

    Yep, it sounds like you've got the basic premise down. Then you look at where you get sales, and focus in on that traffic network, even consider reinvesting money to gain more traffic (pay for articles to be developed, try ppc,etc).

    The next thing you need to do is get out there and do it! and make sure you don't rush the keyword research, the better your market the better you'll do.

    I agree with Matt's comments. You've got the basic outline down. The system IS easy in concept but obviously there is work to be done to be successful. Follow through on all of your efforts, do something everyday no matter how small to build your business and in the end you will succeed.
