Is there somewhere where there is specific and in-depth Direct Response Marketing content?

I've been doing direct response marketing for a few years and I'm looking for a group of people who also work with this to share knowledge.

So, funny thing, the Warrior Forum is much more than this main forum "up here".

We also have a Copywriting subforum. And an Offline subforum where a few pretty smart people hang out. Scroll down and join us sometime!

You may find experienced people here who will share their direct response knowledge and will surely appreciate yours...but first, let's get on the same page, OK?

I asked Co-Pilot: what is direct response marketing and what are some niches

    Copilot responded:
Direct response marketing is a type of marketing strategy designed to elicit an immediate response from consumers
. The goal is to encourage a specific action, such as visiting a website, making a purchase, or signing up for a newsletter, right away
. This approach often uses enticing offers and clear calls-to-action to prompt quick responses.

As for niches within direct response marketing, here are a few common ones

Lead Generation: This involves collecting information from potential customers for follow-up marketing efforts.

Order Generation: Commonly used by catalog and mail-order companies to directly generate sales.

Continuity Programs: These are membership or subscription marketing programs that continually sell and deliver products or services until the customer cancels.

Traffic Building: Strategies aimed at driving more visitors to a website or physical location

Fundraising: Often used by non-profits to solicit donations directly from potential donors

Do you agree with this AI definition and what areas did you or are you currently working in?

When I worked for a 200 million dollar a year direct response marketing company, involved in all of the above, there were complicated steps and processes.

As a one man band, with the goal of maximum money in minimum time with minimum effort, I had to eliminate the slop and mess of the more complicated processes. Let me best describe this via example. Just in the last two days I've rec'd email from lists I am on with a new OFFER, these all came from WarriorPlus marketers, and they all had a lot of COPY for their offer.

And some of them had the NO THANKS link at bottom which took me to an upsell, or a downsell, or a cross sell of some kind...and one of these successful marketers usually has 7 or 8 offers in their promotions. Or, as I think of it a lot of slop and mess.

These are typical of the kind of direct response offers found at WarriorPlus, Clickbank, jvzoo and similar sites. LOTS of copy, scroll, scroll, scroll...and upsells etc., etc.

I prefer a simple Gumroad offer, one page, here is what I have, buy it now or don't.

That is a contrast in remote direct marketing ideas.

So there is a broad spectrum of KINDS of remote direct response marketing activities, which ones do you have in mind when hoping to share with us?
