INTERNET MARKETING

Hello I'm wondering if it's ok to have like a blog looking site and at the top you are using squeeze page tactics and take their email. Then under that you got lots of content to get higher seo rank and better quality score?

No one seems to do it so I am clueless.

I do it and I've seen it often! Test it out for your market and see if its works for you!

doesn't look as good but it's definately possible and I know it works from colleagues who use a similar strategy using several different blog posts that target keywords in a tiny posts at the very bottom of the page.

At the top they have a big headline, some bullets and the opt-in box.

Would love to hear how you get on.

This is a great strategy that I use on my site. The first thing they see right at the top of my site is an offer for a free ebook.

As long as you have an interested ebook or report you'll get lots of opt-ins.

  It works well, I use it on all my blogs but that is in addition to a more traditional squeeze page. It might work for you, test it out.

Here is one of my blogs and you can see it in action. You can get a nice free custom opt-in form maker for wordpress from Maxblogpress plug ins.

Poochdogs - Dog Training and Information Resource

Just remember to make the post containing the opt-in a sticky post and you are set. It can be used as a sidebar widget too and also the form appears at the bottom of each post when the post is viewed as a page, if you know what I mean.
