How Do I make a fortune with autoblogging?

Fellow warriors,

well, i have another question for you guys out there.

I have been doing autoblogging for quite a while and only do it with 1 site. Means that I have only 1 autoblog, which currently receiving 3000++ UV and increasing per month.

I have put my adsense in the autoblog, and it went well except for the site does not have any HPK in it. (Should have thought of that before I implement it)

Regarding the CTR, sometime it went over the 5% mark (for a day %) which i was kind of worry about. CTR counts per day or per month (can anyone answer this please)

What other things should i put besides adsense and adbrite in it?

Have any suggestions?

I am nurturing an autoblog that is starting to gain some traction. What is HPK? Forgive my ignorance.

Your CTR you are referring to is from people clicking on your adsense ads? I'd say 5% is pretty good.

CTR doesn't really matter. just make sure the content on your websites is of a good enough quality. Google is banning publishers who have low quality content(most of the time as a result of rewriting plugins that spew garbage)

To be honest..I don't know of anyone who makes a fortune with autoblogs. the only viable explanation would be if someone was making hundreds of autoblogs and then using them for links to their main websites.

MichaelRogers: HPK = high paying Keywords

Would you be willing to risk your adsense account just because a few people get away with it?

I've been autoblogging for years, well...95% is
automated, but it's this 5% that I put in that
makes my blogs work so well. And because I
have complete control over what's posted, my
blogs never get 'banned' on the free platforms,
and they have 1000's of pages indexed, many
    of them generating convertible traffic.

The secret is to make sure you post good
uality content, in an organic pattern.

My autoblog does not seem to contribute any good or quality content,

I am using autoblogged.com, if you have use it before, I bet that you know how this plugin works, it just catches a paragraph and put the external link. Not much info in it.

What kind of plug in are you using?

I don't use a plugin at all to get these articles, I use an easy to maintain
system to filter out all the noise and get keyword related and complete
articles that I decide that I want to post. I do however use a plugin on
some of my WordPress blogs to post the filtered articles. The real secret
is to have a system that you have total control over, and at the same time
        remove all the hard work.

There's places that you can have content automatically posted to your site like article marketing automation is one that comes to mind.

I use them and have tons of content but even though it says it's 30% unique I don't seem to get many visitors from it.

In all honesty I think my internal linking structure could use some work. I have autoblogs only because I was bored and wanted to do something with the domains. On average after setting them up I make a few dollars a month on them without doing anything.

I also like to throw in amazon posts using wprobot but only implemented it on a couple of autoblogs. On one that is fairly new I've made about ten dollars this month from it.

    Here's an idea..

why not just spend the time to write really really good content that people will naturally spread and tell their friends about? That way there's no chance your blog will get banned. On the other hand, you'll need to be a good writer and have a passion for it..

Um, because that's not what auto-blogging is?

While I personally invest heavily in unique content, to make that comment in this thread is at best useless, and at worst simply trolling.

      Try harder.

I'm sorry but it seems to me you don't have any kind of formulated business plan for your autoblogging. The only "plan" I see is you are throwing a bunch of stuff up against the wall and hoping it sticks. In the meantime risking your Google AdSense publishing account for a few dollars, because of the poor content.

Even though the Google AdSense account did not cost you anything to set up, it is a long time business asset for you. Just think what you might could do with targeted "good content" for your 3000 Unique Visitors. Reread what Glenn Leader said above, about the 5% good (and I bet unique) content he puts up on his autoblogs.

Glenn is also talking about a long term business plan and not just a quick buck business. Please take a step back and evaluate what you can really do with the 3000 UV you are getting. For instance you could use Google Analytic's on your site to find out what keywords your traffic is coming in on. You may already be doing that, so forgive me if I'm being presumptuous.

Then find an affiliate product or create your own and advertise it on the blogs. Making sure it is targeted to the UV. What about setting up a sign up form on your blogs. Don't forget to give them something of value for signing up. Again make it targeted. Doing this one thing alone will give you a list you can market to over and over again.

I do get the impression you are looking for a short cut to make your quick fortune and we would all love to do that. But you have the potential to develop what you already have into some real money. However, IMO it's going to take work and planning on your part.

    Here's to your success.

      Hi!

Thanks for your advice, I already put down the adsense and put up adbrite and other things.

At first, I never would have thought that autoblogging would get me a lot of visitors, and when i put up the autoblog, it is because of i have nothing to do with the domain so i figured, might as well put up an autoblog and see where its going. So, I really dont have a plan at start.

Right now, I should start to plan better.

      Thanks for the advice

      Hi Ken,

      Thanks for the kudos

Yup, whenever I put a system together, I always make sure that it'll work
next week, next month, and next year. In fact my first attempt at building
auto blogs has evolved over years, simply because it works and gets results.
And this is without unique content, but you can bet your pension on the
content being very good and readable. Good readable content is crucial
      to autoblogging success

WRT Unique content: I do have a service I plan to introduce very soon
that will post unique and highly readable content on peoples blogs with
their affiliate ID embedded. As they say... "Watch This Space"

    - Make use of tags and categories - use keywords appropriate to your niche. Targeted keywords bring extra traffic without any back-linking involved.
    - Build blogs on cheap .info domains and no more than 5-10 blogs on subdomains in that niche.
    - Use twitter - create an account related to your niche and promote your autoblog on it.
    - Outsource or automate the whole process once you'll get decent earnings from it - automation is everything.

I fell into the autoblogging trap and the "set up and forget" scheme a while ago, most of my blogs with a really high PR and top five position in the keyword I selected, went right into the sandbox. Because of the low quality of the posts.
I don't think that autoblogging for itself is such a good idea, it seems that after the first rush of traffic that this sites drives they tend to crumble down to the bottom of the search engines.
perhaps if you mix the autopost with some unique content made for yourself, and add some CPA. Sounds more like a plan to me.
I don't know... is just based on my experience.

I dont think that a single or a couple AB sites can make you a "fortune", in fact i have different experiences with autoblogs. Some are indexed with thousands of pages, some are semi-sandboxed and dont get over 100 indexed pages, and so on.

I think the power with autoblogs is if you have MANY of them, either for link-building, or simply by adding the adwords pennies each one makes....eg. if you have a few hundreds of them. I wouldn't focus on ONE autoblog alone.
