I have written and submitted over 20 articles to ezine within the last two weeks. and I am seeing great results, over 600 visits to my articles within two weeks.

what are some ways to increase traffic to my articles and get my articles read by more people. i want people to read my articles and sign up to my list. right now i want to build a list in a niche.

i heard about rss feeds and social bookmarketing, but havent yet found and concrete info on how to use those two methods.

One problem I had with article marketing when I first tried it was the fact I'd submit so many articles at one time. You've got a small case of that.

What I'd recommend is writing more articles for say Hubpages, Squidoo, Blogger, without ads on them that link to you articles. This gives them more links and will help them climb the SERPS.

Social bookmarking is good as well, submission to Digg, Folkd, Mixx, etc.

write articles without promoting my links but let them grow on their own. how would that help me build up a list and backlinks to my site?

Dalun, here is the real trick.

You need to have a section on your own website or blog for all of your articles. You need to put them on your blog first, and book mark and create links to them.

Then submit the articles to EzineArticles, and other article directories. Use all of the articles you put out on various sites to drive traffic back to your blog or website, where your squeeze page, or sign up box is. By submitting to a wide range of article directories you will drive up the ranking of your blog, where your articles and other content is.

Use your articles on other sites like Squidoo, Weebly, Hubpages, and drive traffic towards your blog, also.

Promoting your articles is a matter of getting them ranked higher on Google, which requires well selected keywords, and a good back linking strategy. The problem is, you want them to increase the ranking of your blog before they increase the ranking of just your articles.

Go put on some comfortable clothes, I'm going to give you a long reading assignment. Check out this thread. http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...eza-first.html The thread is very long, and VERY good.

Another strong recommendation, follow these people's posts: Steven Wagenheim, Alexa Smith, Zeus66, TheRichJerksNet, Allen Graves, TimG (That should be enough to get your head spinning with ideas.)

You may want to take a look at automation software for your article submissions if you start submitting to very many directories. I'm just starting to use Incansoft's ArticleBot, and it looks very good.

Last suggestion, I recently purchased the WSO by TimG called the Article Marketing Lifeline, it is excellent and will give you many good ideas. It is almost sold out, so if you're interested check for it quickly.

If your articles are interesting, you can attract more visits through email and news letters.

If you have your own blog, you can create RSS feed.

Social networking will also be helpful.

You may want to turn the articles into videos and submit to YouTube and similar.. that's another source of traffic and backlinks. Turn them into pdf and give it away with a link pointing to your offer/website/blog.

Sounds like your question is really not about traffic but improving your click-though ratio from the articles?

Take your current articles and submit them to a 100 article submission websites with a link back to this main EZA article. Search Engine's don't hate duplicate content. They only don't want to display all of it in the top 10.

When you link back, SE will think that your article has been syndicated. And therefore it will be honored if you have backlinks from other articles.

    Feed Submits:
Go to feedage.com and create an RSS feed
And then submit that feed using RSS Bot
Now take the feed and submit it to pingler, pingomatic and ping.fm
And then bookmark either your feeds or your articles using onlywire or something like that.

Just check out Social Bookmarking Demon. It might help you but I am not sure if it works...

    4 Questions

    1) Are those 600 article page views collective across all 20 articles or for each article?

    2) Your target keywords get how many global searches per month?

    3) What is the search engine ranking of your articles when you Google your target keywords without quotes?

    4) What is the CTRs of your articles?

Answers to the questions above will greatly help me formulate something which can possibly help you, me and other article marketers.

    Thanks.
