What's the best to track links in your opinion?

      no reliable way? i was going to use budurl...but if their server goes down then i would lose traffic right?

        ahh you are talking about a different type of link tracking. Andy and I were referring to tracking the amount of backlinks you have going to a site. Sorry for the confusion. There are ways to do it without a third party, but from what I understand budurl is not a bad choice.

        Not sure if you are using wordpress platform or not, but I understand this is a good plugin you may want to look into: WordPress › Pretty Link WordPress Plugins

        That's correct. There's some free "link cloakers" for wordpress too if you want to do it yourself.

    I use advanced web ranking, IBP and a few others sometimes, but more often than not I just find myself typing in the proper query into google advanced search.
