Adding /?tid= to Clickbank Affiliate links (A MUST!)

Warriors,

For months now I have missed a great opportunity to track my CB affiliate sales from inside my CB account. I finally realized what a Gold Nugget their tracking system was.

For those that don't know:

*** Go to the "Marketplace" at ClickBank.com

Step 1) Click the Promote link/Tab next to the (CB)Clickbank site that you want to promote.

Step 2) Enter your (CB)Clickbank affiliate nickname where it says to, when the pop up window is launched.

Step 3) Enter some tracking code that you want to use for that link to track where the sales are coming from.

Step 4) Finally, click the "Create" button.

You will now have an affiliate link to use for promotion and be able to see your sales within your (CB)Clickbank account with the tracking code you choose for that link next to that sale. This will tell you where your sales are coming from. Test, Test, Test!

For example: Your link could look like this...

//6a6cc3choa0n6wb1x2xm-7-721.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=TEST1

* TEST1 could be from Adwords.

//80eabclnrb1g9v76458e00wd0y.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=TEST2

* TEST2 could be from a newspaper Ad, and so on.

Just keep track of what you named your tracking code so that when you get sales you can see the tracking code next to the sale of where it came from.

If you already have your links created then just add /?tid= to it and the tracking code there after that.

Can't believe I never used this until now. OK, just some info in case others have not woken up to this yet.

    Yep...you got it.

    Adding /?mykeywordhere to any link can help you with tracking where you get your traffic from. It comes in quite handy when it comes to anything you write online.

      It also shows how one can move so fast from day to day that one can miss the little details that are VER IMPORTANT to making it online! I wonder what else I have missed by not slowing down to take the time and really pay attention.

      Tracking ID is a must if you want to knnow exactly which of your pages are converting.

      Once you know which is performing the best among your different baits, you would want to rinse and repeat that. To identify "the best", use TID or whatever tracking ID that vendor lets you use (TID is for Clickbank, as you mentioned here).
