Impending duplicate content problem

Hi

Before anyone jumps at me and says that there is no duplicate content issue in Google - I know. However, I also understand that Google does not like duplicate content within a site.

I have created a website that monitors the email list output from IM "gurus". The aim is to measure statistically how much output each of the gurus sends, how much is genuinely useful, how much is just affiliate swipe and so on. This might not be a sensible idea, I'm not sure yet but over the last few years I've got on some really good ones and some not so good and I'm interested. It might provide useful measures of list value - we'll see.

My current process to do this includes publishing the emails I receive (with their affiliate links intact) in order to calculate email frequency and measure how much is education, affiliate stuff etc.

However, this is going to create a problem - I've had 4 swipe emails today with the heading "Google is BROKEN! [Free Report]. When I update these to the site, I've just created 4 pieces of near duplicate content.

Any suggestions as to how I can avoid this before it becomes an issue?

Thanks

Rob

Unless it's important for you to get on page one of Google for various keywords there no need to worry about this.

If you site contains useful which people can use for research reverse engine email campaigns extra you will probably get plenty of referral traffic from fellow warriors and other internet marketers.

I for would be interested in taking a look at your site what's the url

    Hi Tom
Thanks for the feedback. I'm not worried about a ranking for this, in fact at this stage I have no intent to monetize particularly. This may change in the future as it is already picking up around 100 posts per day and rising, and my server bill could get expensive.

I hope this doesn't sound churlish given that I'm asking for help but I'll post the url in a few days time as it's early days and very ugly right now and missing a lot of functionality.

Would be delighted to share when we lok a little better.

    Thanks
